It is still possible to live well with dementia!

We have a monthly dementia hub at Leyland United Reformed Church, Hough Lane on the first Friday of the month, 10am-12noon for anyone wishing to pop in and receive some information of where to go and who can help.

Our volunteers are Dementia Friends. Alongside the Hub is a social group called NEXT STEPS.

Age UK Lancashire are there for you to meet others in a similar position and benefit from shared experiences, mutual support and social connections.

Tomorrow is the next one! (Friday 7th August)

A new partnership between Parkinson's UK, Table Tennis England (TTE) and Parkinson's England Table Tennis (PETT) is aiming to get more people with Parkinson's into the sport.

We're heartbroken to share that last night someone stole two of our parasols from our Withy Trees Day Centre.
While they may seem like simple garden items, they make a huge difference to the people we support. Without them, many of our service users are unable to safely enjoy the beautiful weather, take part in gardening activities, or spend time outdoors without the risk of being in the direct sun.
We don't want the thoughtless actions of one person to take away the joy and wellbeing of so many.
If you have a spare parasol that you no longer need, or would like to donate towards replacing them, we would be incredibly grateful. Every act of kindness, no matter how small, helps us continue providing a safe and enjoyable outdoor space for those who rely on our services.
