⚫️🔴⚪️ MATCH REPORT ⚪️🔴⚫️

The Warriors returned from summer break like a storm unleashed — fearless runs, thunderous tackles, and hearts burning with pride. But today wasn’t just about us. The Bank Quay Bulls brought grit, determination and real pressure from the first whistle. Every try was earned, every metre fought for. Two teams, one pitch, and nothing but effort, respect and pure rugby spirit.

Tasmanian Devil tore through the field like a whirlwind. Mighty Mouse danced past defenders with her wicked sidestep. Cinders and Ash locked down the left wing like a fortress. Quickfeet played in fast‑forward, S‑Doo showed bravery beyond his years, and Captain led with fire and precision. Tedizard smashed through bodies and stretched over the line like a dragon claiming treasure. Shaky stunned everyone with raw power and heart. And our nickname‑less Warrior broke the line again and again with unstoppable force.

Two teams gave everything. One match full of pride.

The only requirement to become part of this team is you are in year 4 (8years old turning 9). Come and join my lovely team and have lots of fun!

Leyland Warriors U9s went for some fantastic team bonding! 🏉💦

What better way to spend a Sunday evening than getting the whole team out on the water for an action-packed paddleboarding session at the Anderton Centre! 🌊🏄‍♂️

The team had an absolute blast, taking part in loads of fun games, challenges and, of course, finding a way to get some rugby involved… even on the water! 😂🏉

Plenty of laughs, plenty of teamwork and, as you can imagine, plenty of getting wet! 💦

A massive thank you to Rivington Paddleboard Club for inviting us down and putting on such a fantastic, fun and VERY wet session. Liam and Andy did a brilliant job and the kids absolutely loved it!

Another great opportunity for the team to spend time together, build those friendships and create some fantastic memories away from the rugby pitch. 💙💛

We’re flying out two days before the big game for some much-needed “warm weather training” at the premium Spanish resort of Lloret de Mar ☀️🍺 before making our way north to Perpignan.
