Really proud to be supporting the lads at Leyland Albion FC this season ⚽️

It’s great to see a new team come together, and I’m really pleased that CJ Roofing Solutions can play a small part in helping them get started.

Grassroots football is what it’s all about, and if we can help support the local community while the lads do what they love, then we’re more than happy to do it.

And what a start to the season! 2–2 after 90 minutes, followed by a 4–2 win on penalties to get through to the next round! 👏🏽

Wishing all the players, coaches and everyone involved a brilliant season. Looking forward to seeing how far you can go!

Leyland Albion 1st Team 2–2 Sporting Euxton
Leyland Albion win 4–2 on penalties 🎯

What a way to start our competitive season!

A really hard-fought game against a good Sporting Euxton side finished level at 2–2 after 90 minutes, taking our first Challenge Cup game all the way to penalties.

The lads held their nerve from the spot and came through 4–2 on penalties to book our place in the next round. 💪

Plenty still to work on, but a great result and another step forward for a group that's only just starting its journey together.

There is still time to get involved with our new U18 team going into the Lancashire Sunday Football League, we're looking for U17 or U18 players. Training is currently Thursdays with matches Sundays.

There is progression into our Open Age team, so this is a great opportunity for players who are keen and wanting to keep playing football. Please get in touch for any more details.

⚽⚽ Now this is exciting, Leyland Albion will be having it's first ever Open Age team for 2026/27 and we need players ⚽⚽

Following on from a super successful U18 team the last 2 seasons we make the journey into Open Age Football opening up the pathway from U7 all the way through to Open Age at Leyland Albion.

If your club doesn't have Open Age, or you've played in the past and want to get back into it, give us a shout, we want to hear from you. The team will be playing in the Lancashire Sunday Football League and we will play at our grass pitches at BTR Fields on Centurion Way.

If you're 17+, 20+, 30+, 40+, we want to hear from you. This will be a hugely exciting team and is ready to go.
