SATURDAY 5TH SEPTEMBER

A huge Saturday of cricket for Leyland CC, with plenty still to play for across our senior teams!

The 1st XI bring their league season to a close with the short trip to Longridge, looking to finish the year on a high.

The 2nd XI welcome Longridge to Fox Lane with promotion secured they now look to take top spot as we see the top two, while the 3rd XI host Whittingham & Goosnargh knowing they can take a huge step towards promotion today also! 👏

The 4th XI complete the weekend’s fixtures with a trip to Norcross.

A massive day for the club and one last push from everyone involved.

If you’re free this afternoon, get down and support the club especially our 2nds and 3rds at home! 💚

🏏 BANK HOLIDAY MONDAY CRICKET 🏏

Two Leyland sides are in action today as we head into the final stages of the season.

The 1st XI play their final home game of the season at Fox Lane, welcoming Carlisle CC with a 12:30 start. With second place still very much to play for, there’s plenty riding on these final couple of games. It would be brilliant to see a big Leyland crowd down at the ground to get behind the lads one last time at home this season.

Meanwhile, our Ladies 2nd XI are on the road as they make the short trip to Stanley Park to take on Blackpool CC, starting at 14:00.

After a brilliant few weeks for the team, it’s back to league business with another strong side taking to the field.

SATURDAY CRICKET AT LEYLAND CC!

A huge Saturday of cricket ahead, with all four senior teams in action!

The 1st XI are at Fox Lane for a massive game against league leaders Netherfield CC. It’s 1st vs 2nd, with a huge opportunity for the lads to close the gap at the top of the table. First ball is at 12:30pm and we’d love a big Leyland crowd down supporting the team!

And there’s even more reason to get down to Fox Lane today… FOXFEST is on! Guest ales, cricket and a full day at the club — what better way to spend your Saturday?!

Elsewhere, the 4th XI are also at home, taking on Vernon Carus CC at Bretherton, while the 2nd XI travel to Rufford and the 3rd XI head to Torrisholme.

🏆 BACK-TO-BACK CHAMPIONS — BACK AT FOX LANE! 🏆

A big day of cricket for our Ladies today, with both teams in action.

Our Ladies 1st XI return to Fox Lane for the first time since becoming T20 National Plate Final winners last weekend — completing back-to-back national successes in 2025 & 2026! 🏆🏆

Today they welcome Northop Hall CC to Fox Lane, and we’d love to see as many people as possible down at the club to give the team the reception and support they deserve.
