I run groups and activities for children and parents, a lot of this focussing on children's movement. I also run children's parties, after

school clubs and holiday clubs. During the night I run adults fitness classes to focus on their own health and fitness. I am really passionate about what I do and making a difference and a positive impact on children and adults lives.

💙👶 WE’RE BACK! 👶💙

After a little summer holiday break, Active Babies was back this morning! 🎉 And although we had a smaller group today, we still had SO much fun! 🥰

The little ones were busy exploring, playing with the toys and doing what babies do best… keeping everyone on their toes! 😂💙 Meanwhile, the grown-ups got the very important job of sitting down with a brew and a biscuit ☕🍪 and having a good old catch-up! Because let’s face it, sometimes the adults need the social time just as much as the babies do! 😆

Because we had a quieter session, we had some extra-special time for our artwork and went TOY STORY themed! 🤠⭐

We made Buzz, Woody and Jessie and honestly… they turned out AMAZING! 🚀🤠🐴 I think we might have some little Toy Story fans taking home some very special artwork today! 💕

We finished off with some singing 🎶 and had a lovely morning together.

👑✨ NEXT WEEK… we’re continuing our Disney Princess theme! ✨👑

💙 THE END OF A VERY SPECIAL CHAPTER… 💙

After 10 years, my time delivering weekly sessions at Poplars / Thrive Leyland Meadows Nursery has come to an end.

This one feels like a big one for me, because when I first started Activate with Andy, Poplars was actually the very first nursery to book me to come in and run weekly sports sessions with their 3 and 4 year olds. 🥹

I will always be hugely grateful to Hayley, who owned and ran Poplars at the time, for taking that chance on me and giving AWA that first opportunity. When you’re starting a new business, those first people who believe in what you’re trying to do really do mean everything. 💙

Over the last 10 years I’ve met and worked alongside some absolutely wonderful members of staff, and I’ve had the privilege of working with hundreds of children, helping them build confidence, listening skills, teamwork and physical skills as they prepare for school.

I’ve loved seeing their little personalities develop week after week, and it has always meant so much when families have stopped me to tell me how much their child enjoys the sessions. I’m also incredibly grateful to all the families from the nursery who have gone on to support Activate with Andy by coming to our groups or booking me to run their children’s birthday parties. ❤️

I am genuinely really sad to be leaving after such a long time, but sometimes chapters come to an end and it’s time to move on.

So, a massive THANK YOU to everyone at Poplars and Thrive Leyland Meadows, past and present, for being such a big part of the Activate with Andy story. 💙

And with one chapter ending, it also means I now have ONE WEEKLY NURSERY SPACE AVAILABLE. 👀

💙 A brilliant Mini Athletes

Our first mini athletes of the new term and today we welcomed some new mini athletes to the session. The first one back is always fun after all the older ones have moved onto school. Every single one of them did a brilliant job today. Well done!!

If you want to join us next week, book your place now. It’s the perfect group for children who have lots of energy. It’s 45 minutes of constant physical activities and absolute chaos but in the perfect way 😂

What a beautiful session at our Sing & Shake baby singing group today! 🥰

A heartfelt thank you to everyone who joined us. It was especially wonderful to welcome back some familiar families after a little break — we’ve missed you, and it was such a joy to see you again! 💛

We had so much fun singing together, enjoying old favourites like 5 Little Ducks 🦆 and, of course, Pop the Bubbles! 🫧 — always a huge hit with our little singers!

The room was filled with smiles, laughter, music and happy little voices. Thank you for making the session so special, and we can’t wait to sing, shake and have more fun with you all again next week! 💕🎵
