Day 'Night' 😎 Skeptical & CALIBRE Concorde2. Epic, beautiful & very hot 💦

I'm not throwing the term RAVE about w***y nilly. It's become synonymous with day parties and hijacked by the US with their hybrid festival experience and special turbo dnb....but in the Brighton/ London DnB scene (2000- present, I believe) we always referred to 'Nights', usually by the name of the label, promoters, creatives behind the night, the club when it has a guaranteed dnb line-up like Fabric, or the headline DJ. Freeparties was the name reserved for illegal parties in warehouses and fields, the beach, churches etc (!) , 'clubbing' was commandeered by the 'townies' for the generic housey mash-up nights, and the hippies/ psytrance crew invited you to a 'nice party', like it was for kids but it defo wasn't, although the decor was, and prob still is, quite fun 🍄; much better than the dnb scene 🚨 I think I missed the raves when they were called raves. I was raving with my Sylvanians 🐻 So yeh Daytime 'Night' sounds weird but i'm going with that 🫠❤️🙌🏼😎 chatty Cathy signing off

Six fantastisch sessions at Caravanserai as part of the Fringe Festival 🔊 Such an awesome atmosphere, DJs playing stone cold bangers in the hot hot heat, lovely staff, noice chips & cider 🍎 🍟 Big up to Would've felt like work, rather than super fun & silly, without ya ❤️ Thank you to all the dancers, all the congas, soul trains, singing and shaking and sorry, not sorry, to the lil girl I squirted with the super soaker and made cry whoopsie doodles 🔫💦

Caravanserai is by St Peters church Brighton, part of Brighton Fringe Fest! A junkyard of circus tents, wagons & a carosel repurposed as a bar! We're on the 'under the arch' stage, and there's shade, I seem to remember! 🎠 🎪 🔊 ☀️❤️
