MAX PUSH UP TEST:
A goal of mine for a long, long time (probably my entire adult life) has been to do 20 ‘proper’ push ups. By ‘proper’ I mean getting my chest to touch the floor. Yesterday saw me smashing that goal! I went in aiming for 10 reps and then kept going much to my surprise.
Over the last few months, my training with has seen me building the volume each week, no maximum efforts and fairly low reps.
Last week my push up set looked like this:
4 Push Ups, rest
5 Push Ups, rest
7 Push Ups, rest
X3
