Another successful finals weekend, despite the weather. The hard work of Jean and Dave in jiggling days about was much appreciated by all the competitors. Some photos and results below. Thank you to the spectators who came along to cheer everyone on.
Also congrats to Arthur on the non winners cup. Apologies Lea and Arthur for not getting a photo but trying to get through the paparazzi for your match was difficult!😂

Today the semi finals and finals of the Monday League were held. The final four were Arthur, Barry, Lawrence and Peter with Arthur and Lawrence going through to the final. Congratulations Arthur on your victory. You and Lawrence both bowled to a very high standard. The Chairman presented the cups and thanked Jim for another very successful Monday League tournament. He also thanked the spectators for coming along to support the players. Another very happy morning at LBC.😎

A day off from bowls for members and their guests. An informal, fun afternoon on the pétanque piste beside the bowling green. There will be help on hand for those who have not played before. The pavilion will be open for tea, coffee and other drinks from the bar. Mollky will also be running along side. For an idea of numbers, a sign up sheet will be on the noticeboard in the next couple of days or you can send a message here. We hope to see you then!☀️😎
