As one of the largest, most active clubs in Sussex, Southdown Sports Club is located in the beautiful semi-rural setting of Lewes. The Club offers extensive playing opportunities for all ages and abilities, whether you enjoy mixing in for social tennis, just wa
nt to play with friends and family, want to join one of the many coaching groups or enjoy playing competitive tennis in the many men’s, ladies’ and mixed teams which run all the year round. The club has a friendly and welcoming atmosphere providing a wonderful outdoor facility not only to play tennis, but to form many new friendships. Southdown has a full team of qualified coaches on hand offering individual and group coaching for both adults and juniors, with a comprehensive year-round tennis programme and annual tournaments tailored for beginner, social and performance players. Southdown is a not-for-profit Members Club enabling annual membership costs to be kept at very reasonable levels, with facilities being maintained to a high standard and regularly upgraded. An active social calendar also makes good use of the Club’s excellent catering and bar facilities.
