Superb end to the season, league and cup double in the Floodlight League.

This follows on from the 2nd Team winning the 3rd Division title in the Kendal League, the 1st Team finishing strongly taking 3rd place in the 1st Division. 3 league merit winners, Aidan in the 1st Division Linda in the 3rd and Duffman taking his obligatory title 🤣
2 divisional championship runners up in the 1st and 3rd Division.

A highly successful year! Well done to all the players and volunteers, alongside the committee that keep the club going.

It’s been that successful of a year, I’m sure we have forgot to mention something!

Preparations for the 2025 season have started today 🌱

Big thanks to Greener Grounds for coming in again to support us and continually improving our surface.

Many of the kids on their holidays loved to see the big machinery in action 🤣🤣

Well done to our Floodlight Team winning the Lune Valley First Division last night. The team saved their best till last in a close race for the title with Lune Road. The team had a big win at home winning the league by a small margin.

Thanks to all that helped out and played in the floodlight team.

Sad to come to the green this morning and see significant damage has been caused over the weekend.

Why people find this acceptable in our community one only knows. We are lucky to be surrounded by fantastic facilities the community can engage positively with. But sad that we had a club have to face and deal with damage to our facilities.

Good first night of the Ray Gott qualifiers.

Some cracking games, Ira and Alan having a right good tussle, Ira pinching it over a couple of ends.

Moz played superbly on his first visit to the green and sent some sensational bowls.

We move onto next Wednesday, weather looks set to be abysmal, but the show will go on no matter what. Have plenty of spinach and we’ll see you all Wednesday!
