What a lovely afternoon at Levens Bowling Club for our Open Day and Cake Sale! ☀️🍰

It was fantastic to see people coming along, giving bowls a go, enjoying the cakes and refreshments, and spending time together on the green.

A big thank you to everyone who helped organise the day, baked, supported, and joined us. Events like this are a great reminder that our club is about friendship, community, and welcoming new faces as much as it is about bowls.

We hope everyone who came along enjoyed themselves — and if you’ve ever thought about trying bowls, we’d love to see you next time.

We will be holding a Cake Sale/Open day on Saturday 28th March.

If you’ve ever thought about trying bowls why not pop along and have a go? Our qualified coaches will be on hand to show you the basics and if it’s not your cup of tea why not just pop along for a brew & some lovely cake.

Superb end to the season, league and cup double in the Floodlight League.

This follows on from the 2nd Team winning the 3rd Division title in the Kendal League, the 1st Team finishing strongly taking 3rd place in the 1st Division. 3 league merit winners, Aidan in the 1st Division Linda in the 3rd and Duffman taking his obligatory title 🤣
2 divisional championship runners up in the 1st and 3rd Division.

A highly successful year! Well done to all the players and volunteers, alongside the committee that keep the club going.

It’s been that successful of a year, I’m sure we have forgot to mention something!

Preparations for the 2025 season have started today 🌱

Big thanks to Greener Grounds for coming in again to support us and continually improving our surface.

Many of the kids on their holidays loved to see the big machinery in action 🤣🤣
