⚽️ East Fife v Am Soccer ⚽️

Another tough day for the boys in very windy conditions.
Playing against a very good Am side the boys did hold their own in spells.
There was some good passing on show at times but the boys could have been a bit better at this in the final 3rd!
A busy day in goals for Owen today who made a lot of good saves.
Second week in a row where Dara has got the FairPlay award! Dara has been outstanding in the last few weeks and it’s good to see his efforts being noticed.
A lot of good today so let’s take the positives from it and move onto next week.
The boys showed there support to the national side today - Cmon Scotland!

⚽️East Fife v Pittenweem ⚽️

Windy morning for the boys today along the coast. Played with the wind in the first half and we made the most of it. Some great passing play moving the ball about really well. The boys were defensively strong today playing forward with confidence. 2nd half was a tougher affair in to the wind with Pittenweem taking advantage of the conditions and fighting there way back into the game but the boys held them off for a 3rd win on the bounce.
Keep at it boys.

⚽️East Fife v Auchtermuchty⚽️

2 wins on the trot for the boys. 1st half was some of the best football we have seen the boys play. If it hadn't been for the Muchty keeper we could have hit the net a few more times.
2nd half got a bit more physical but the boys held there own and never gave up. Our new shape seems to be working well for defending and pushing forward from midfield. Only having 1 sub today there will surely be some tired lads 😴😴

A change of formation for the boys this week and it took them a little getting used to!
Once they got to grips with the change they got right into the game and held their own very well.
Scoring some cracking goals which will help with the confidence.
As the game went on the boys tired and lost shape an”which contributed to a bit of a downfall.
All in a good performance from the boys against a very good Rothes side.
We will take it on and keep improving! Well done boys

⚽️East Fife v Pittenweem ⚽️

There was plenty of passion, commitment, and determination on display from East Fife throughout the match against Pittenweem. From start to finish the players worked tirelessly and gave maximum effort in every area of the pitch.
East Fife created numerous chances and, on another day, could easily have added more goals. The attacking play was positive, and created plenty opportunities.
The work rate from all the boys was great Riley, William and Eamon constant running with Noah, Louden, Jack solid at the back and attitude of the squad were excellent from start to finish. If the boys continue to show the same level of commitment, desire, and effort, the results will come.
A performance full of encouragement, with plenty of positives to take into the next match.
Wee mention to Carson and Rory for playing through being injured. Well done Robbie for a clean sheet.

⚽️East Fife v Kennoway⚽️

We had a tough day against Kennoway, with missed opportunities proving costly in front of goal, despite getting into dangerous positions, the boys struggled to convert their opportunities and were unable to make their possession count.
As the game progressed, the work rate that had been evident during some of the early parts of the game began to drop off, allowing Kennoway to gain more control of the match. Stamina levels also became a factor, with the team finding it difficult to maintain the same intensity throughout the full game.
While there are always moments of good football and determination, the match highlighted areas that need improvement. Greater sharpness in front of goal, maintaining a consistent work rate, and improving fitness levels will all be key focuses moving forward.
Every game provides lessons, and this one was no different. The players will dust themselves down, work hard in training, and look to come back stronger next week.
