Another settled week with cool, dry conditions has provided excellent opportunities for tournament set-ups across the course.

We also took the chance to carry out some improvement work on a couple of our weaker greens, including mini tining, verticutting and topdressing.

Always a challenging time of year with growth minimal due to dry condition & low temperatures, while expectations remain high from both staff & players.

Work across the course has focused on a range of key tasks, including replenishing turf nursery’s, applying wetting agents/fertilisers, bowser irrigation & carrying out Terra Raking on rough areas to improve definition & increase density.

Bunker reconstructions are nearing completion, with just four more to finish.

This week all of our machinery underwent full HAVS and noise assessments to ensure the workplace remains compliant.

Greens looking and rolling well as we head into the start of the season.

Upgrades continue, including an additional irrigated grass pathway at the second and ongoing bunker reconstruction.

Leven Links has partnered with Clere Golf to provide pin locations around the course via a mobile app. For those without access to a smart device, a paper pin chart will be available prior to play.

The current coloured flag locations will remain in use for now; however, these will be phased out ahead of the start of the season, returning to the traditional two-colour system distinguishing the front nine and back nine.

Simply scan the QR code and try it out the next time you play Leven Links.
