Last week I delivered a talk on Resilient Leadership to a room full of leaders and professionals.
And what struck me most wasn’t just the feedback afterwards.
It was how many people finally opened up about what leadership actually feels like behind the scenes.
The pressure.
The overthinking.
The frustration of difficult conversations.
The feeling of always having to hold it together.
Because leadership can look successful on the outside… while your internal saboteurs are running the show underneath.
Since the session:
• 20 people have completed the Saboteur Assessment
• 5 people have already booked coaching calls
• Several leaders have shared challenges they’d never previously voiced out loud
One person told me they were now going to walk into a difficult meeting that same day, with a completely different mindset and new tools to handle it.
Another said they felt genuine relief realising leadership doesn’t have to end in burnout if you learn how to manage your mind differently.
That’s the work I love most.
Not “fixing” people.
But helping capable, high-performing people understand what’s getting in their way… so they can lead with more clarity, confidence and resilience for the long haul.
Because resilient leadership isn’t about becoming tougher.
It’s about learning how to stop your saboteurs hijacking your thinking, reactions and relationships under pressure.
If you’re a leader who’s quietly exhausted from carrying the weight of everything, or you know you’re capable of more, but your mind keeps pulling you into stress, over-control, avoidance, people-pleasing or self-doubt…
There is another way to lead.
And it changes far more than just your work.
A huge ‘thank you’ to Sarah Leete and Lawrence Dean Recruitment for hosting - I love the way you actively create these opportunities to share knowledge and skills with your clients.
If this resonated, feel free to message me ‘leadership’ and I’ll send you the saboteur assessment link.
