Today was Junior Open Day - 39 players took to the course for 36 holes. In slightly cooler weather the leading round after 18 was a level par 71 by Alfie Kitteridge. James Andrews took the title with a fantastic -2 69 in the afternoon to go along with his 74 in the morning to win by 4. Amanda Ellis took home the girls trophy and Joshua Moore won the best 36 hole nett with a superb 121 total in his first ever 36 hole event. Well played to all the entries.

And to round off a fantastic Championships for us we had the Senior Ladies 18 hole Champs today. A great field of 45 ladies with the main trophy and the Hazel Fussell nett trophy up for grabs. With an excellent round of gross 78 Alison Forster took the title with Heather Lee claiming the nett with a fantastic 66. Well played to all over the Championships.

Yesterday saw our penultimate Championship of the week with the Juniors eager to get on the course. A great turn out on another hot day with 4 trophies up for grabs. Some excellent scoring saw James Andrews take the title with a gross 76. Amelia Parker took the under 15 gross with a 79. Under 18 nett winner was Theo Smith with 70 and Under 15 nett winner was Lucian Oxley with a fantastic nett 66. Very well played everyone in tough conditions.
