The Britton School of Performing Arts

The Britton School of Performing Arts was founded in 2012 by leading West End performer, Lynsey Britton, and is one of the most highly regarded Dance, Drama and Singing schools in Letchworth and the surrounding area. In 2025 we moved into our very own purpose built studios and our school has gone from strength to strength with our students thriving in this new environment - honing this skills and developing deep bonds with other students; friendships that will last a a lifetime! These incredible facilities are now also available to hire for rehearsals, dance practices, children's birthday parties and more. Our friendly and professional school offers expert training to students, aged from three years to Adult, in a variety of classes including ISTD Ballet, Tap and Modern, Street, Commercial, Contemporary, Jazz, Lyrical, Acro, Musical Theatre, Drama, Private Singing lessons and Mountview exam classes. Examinations, National Festivals, International competitions and a bi-annual show at The Gordon Craig Theatre are all part of the curriculum. BSPA students were All England Dance National Final medallists in 2019, 2022 and 2024 as well as medallists at the Dance World Cup 2022, 2023, 2024 and World Champions in 2025!! BSPA alumni have studied or are currently studying at prestigious colleges, including Arts Educational, Bird College, Urdang Academy, London Studio Centre, Guilford School of Acting, Performers College and Addict Dance Academy.
