Under the lights and loving every minute 🏉✨

Saturday night, our Letchworth girls joined over 120 players from 15 clubs at the Hertford Girls Floodlit Festival - and what a brilliant experience it was! With players from our U8, U9 and U10 squads teaming up, it was all about teamwork, confidence, and having fun on the pitch.

We had girls from our U8, U9 and U10s teams in cluster teams from other amazing clubs, and all of our girls gave it their all and had a brilliant run out. The Lionesses are back in action this weekend 🦁

Sorry we've been quieter than usual this season. Like many women’s teams, this season has brought its share of challenges - injuries, some upcoming changes, and the reality of balancing rugby with busy lives, careers, studies, families and all the other commitments that come with being a team full of hardworking women 💪.

But don’t worry… we’re still here!

Behind the scenes we’re regrouping and working on some exciting new plans and developments that we’ll be announcing soon.

In the meantime, the rugby absolutely continues and this Sunday we’re back on home turf as Letchworth Lionesses take on Datchworth Ferns 🏉

🏉✨ Inspiring the next generation of girls in rugby ✨🏉

Brilliant to see one of our local schools taking part in a girls-only rugby session through our partnership with the Saracens Foundation 🙌

Off the back of an incredible Women’s Rugby World Cup, we’re proud to be working together to grow the girls’ game locally, creating fun, inclusive sessions that build confidence, skills and a real love for rugby in a supportive environment 🌹

Our game against Tabard Women was sadly cancelled today, so we thought we would see what our girls got up to with their free Sunday!

There was DIY, farming, crochet, marking, the zoo, wild swimming, coffee dates, roast dinners, scooting with the kids, play parks, sofa days and much more!

Hope all our followers also had a wonderful Sunday! 💛🖤

Same Lionesses...extra mud 🌧️
Our fantastic women had a very slippy run out yesterday against and although the result didn’t go our way it was a super game full of mud, smiles, and a few cuts and bruises!
