Lady Captain Joan had a great day yesterday as did our lady golfers. Some of our new ladies managed to participate all loved it! Thanks to all the prize sponsors and Volenteer’s who make these days such a success.

Great day yesterday for Captain’s prize. Well done to all who picked up a prize, thanks to all the sponsors, thanks to all the participants and last but not least to the Volenteer’s who make it happen and help on the day.
Would have been nice for more prize winners to come back to club to pick up their prize but we k ow there was a big game on at 2am this morning so some maybe have needed a nanny nap 💤

The night before the Captain’s Prize…

All is quiet tonight. The course sits waiting, calm and peaceful under the evening sky. Tomorrow will be a different story as golfers from near and far arrive to compete, socialise and enjoy one of the biggest days of the season.

Months of planning and preparation have gone into making this event special, and now it’s almost time. The fairways are ready, the greens are looking fantastic, and the clubhouse is set for a great day.

Good luck to everyone taking part tomorrow. Most importantly, enjoy the day, play well, and make some great memories.

Please use the bins provided on the course or put in your bag and dispose off at the clubhouse. We have cut back to 10 bins on the course this year as there are new laws coming in 2027 where all businesses must recycle waste. Eventually there won’t be bins on courses because of this.
