A huge shout out to our 📣'Grove Juniors', we are so proud of their achievement yesterday winning the Shropshire & Herefordshire Union of Golf Clubs Junior Texas Scramble.

Winners are Owen Davies, Wren Humphries, Connor Hitchinson (Capt) and George Davies scored an impressive 50 to win the competition by 6 shots from their nearest rivals.

All of the team played magnificently and represented the Grove brilliantly as always. Thank you also to Pat and Gary for their excellent coaching.

Our Juniors featured well once again at the Shropshire and Herefordshire U12's Championships with Haydn Price (right) winning the U12's title with an excellent Gross score of 82 and Owen Davies winning the best Nett score of the day with a brilliant Nett 56. Well done boys, they are pictured with our Head PGA Professional Gary Morgan who continues to produce the best out of our Junior golfers. He said " Haydn and Owen work so hard at their games and really deserve their success, I am sure they will keep up the great work at our academy"

We held a great Christmas Junior Golf and Bowl party for our Juniors at Grove Golf and Bowl this morning with the boys narrowly taking the "bragging" rights in a closely contested grudge match.
This was followed by a chipping/short game clinic on the Driving range, hosted by our Head PGA Professional Gary Morgan, where the competition was yet again keenly contested, with the girls finishing on top, leaving the honours shared yet again. So at this stage we are all looking forward to the rematch in 2025.
