Every medal represents more than just attendance – it’s about recognising:

Children will progress through six medal levels as they continue to work hard in class:

⚪ White
🟡 Yellow
🔴 Red

We want every child to feel proud of their achievements, no matter where they are on their martial arts journey.

🥊 A Huge Thank You to the Clive Richards Foundation 🥊 We are incredibly grateful to the Clive Richards Foundation for their generous support, which has enabled us to make a significant investment in Leominster Police Boxing Academy.

Thanks to this funding we’ve been able to purchase new gloves, coaching equipment, free-standing bags, kick shields, resistance bands, medicine balls, protective equipment and storage solutions, helping us continue to provide the very best environment for our members.

This equipment will benefit children, young people and adults through our weekly classes, school sessions and community activities for many years to come.

Thank you for believing in our club and investing in opportunities for our local community. 🥊

🍦 Sometimes the best feedback isn’t a certificate… it’s an ice cream! 😄

Today I had the pleasure of delivering three staff wellbeing sessions at Hereford, Ludlow & North Shropshire College.

We explored practical self-defence, kickboxing pad work and Tai Chi, showing how martial arts can build confidence, improve wellbeing and reduce stress—regardless of age or experience.

The energy, enthusiasm and willingness of everyone taking part made it a fantastic day. Watching people challenge themselves, have a laugh and leave with a smile is exactly why I love what I do.

A huge thank you to everyone who took part and to the college for making me feel so welcome.

Now… after all that hard work, I think I’d earned the ice cream! 🍦😂

Tonight’s focus was the skip-in side kick — a technique widely used in semi-contact competition to close distance quickly, score cleanly and control the fight.

Developing speed, timing and accuracy takes repetition, patience and good coaching. It’s great to see the students becoming more confident every week.

🥊 BUILDING STRONGER MINDS THROUGH BOXING 🥊
I’ve been proud to work alongside West Mercia Police and local schools, delivering positive boxing and fitness sessions to young people across Herefordshire.

What started as a small partnership has now engaged around 1,500 students, helping children develop:

✅ Confidence
✅ Discipline
✅ Respect
✅ Teamwork
✅ Positive relationships with local police officers

These sessions are about far more than boxing. They provide an opportunity for children to learn new skills, improve self-belief, stay active and engage with positive role models in a safe and supportive environment.

Recent feedback from local schools includes:

⭐ “All of the children were engaged throughout and thoroughly enjoyed learning new skills.”

⭐ “A highly enjoyable session that left the children excited and eager for more.”

⭐ “The children showed great enthusiasm, energy and willingness to get involved in every activity.”

⭐ “Glenn was excellent at making sure everyone felt included and able to take part.”

Thank you to the schools, teachers, police officers and most importantly the children who continue to make these sessions such a success.

Another fantastic Monday night at GP Martial Fitness!

Our Box a Blast sessions combine boxing fitness, pad work, partner drills and plenty of laughs along the way. Whether you’re looking to get fitter, build confidence, relieve stress or simply try something different, everyone is welcome.

No previous boxing experience is needed and all fitness levels can join in at their own pace.

🥊🌈 ECHO Colour Run 2026 🌈🥊

What a fantastic day yesterday helping with the warm-up for the ECHO Colour Run! It was brilliant to see so many families, children and supporters coming together for such an amazing cause.

The energy, enthusiasm and smiles were incredible from start to finish, and it was a privilege to get everyone moving and ready before they set off on their colourful adventure!

A huge well done to everyone who took part, volunteered and organised the event. Community events like this show just how much can be achieved when people come together to support one another.
