Summer time is swimming time! ☀️

The sunshine is coming out, and now that we're looking ahead to hot weather, days out, and trips away, it's a great time to get your child into the water for their swimming lessons.

For only £17.50 in total, your child will have 4 lessons led by our passionate instructors, which will develop their confidence, teach them new skills, and help them find a love for swimming. 🌊

Let’s hear it for Halo Sport Foundation Member Martin! 🏍️💨

Martin, who utilises both Hereford Leisure Centre and Ledbury Swimming Pool to keep his fitness sharp, recently took to the dirt and secured a fantastic 2nd place finish in the highly competitive 500cc final at the Ledbury Grasstrack! 🏁🏆

Grasstrack racing requires elite core strength, lightning reflexes, and peak fitness and clearly, all that hard work in our centres is paying off on the track.

Brilliant racing, Martin! We are proud to support you. 👏

Looking for a meaningful way to stay active and meet new people? Our Helpers in the Water volunteers in Tenbury and Gloucestershire are the heart of our swim school.

By spending a few hours a week in the pool, you’ll be helping the next generation find their "water legs" and master life-saving skills. It’s rewarding, fun, and keeps you moving!

Seriously Social About... the Environment ♻️

At Halo, we're very conscious about reducing our carbon footprint, making our centres as environmentally friendly as possible, and doing our part for the planet.

Our free water refilling stations save thousands of single-use water bottles from ending up in landfills each year, and our digital bookings keep things paperless to protect our forests. 🌳

One thing that people might not know about is several Halo centres have recently had new pool covers installed!

Covering our pools at night saves our energy usage, preventing thousands of litres of water from evaporating every year.

This keeps your morning swim warm and our carbon footprint cool. 👣

Huge congratulations to 15-year-old Halo Sports Foundation Member, Jake! 🛶💫

Jake, who trains out of Ross Swimming Pool, has officially been selected to represent Junior Team GB for canoe slalom in both K1 and Kayak Cross at the upcoming World and European Championships in Krakow and Epinal this year!

To wear the Team GB kit at just 15 is an absolutely incredible milestone. Elite sport requires elite commitment, which is why the Halo Sports Foundation is so proud to support Jake by providing free access to our facilities, helping him fine-tune his strength, conditioning, and recovery away from the water. 🏋️‍♂️💪

A helping hand on the journey to the podium!

The financial burden of competing at the very top is real, but thanks to the Halo Sport Foundation Athlete Support Programme in partnership with Bridgend County Borough Council (BCBC), local elite athletes across Bridgend County are getting the boost they deserve.

Through the Halo Sport Foundation Athlete Support Programme in partnership with Bridgend County Borough Council, we are proud to help relieve some of these financial burdens by providing both free training access to Halo centres and vital financial grants.

This initiative is only possible thanks to the incredible collaboration and shared vision of our Partners & Sponsors: KKSolutions , Castell Howell , Zoggs UK, Sport Wales, and SportsAid Cymru.
