PÉTANQUE IS BACK !
Okay, okay, but have you tried it at Lucs? We are a social section that was founded in 2017 with the aim of linking the various sports within our club. We do play the game, but the rules are fairly loose and, whilst les Bérets Noirs et les Bérets Rouges are competitive, the aim is to have fun. We have players from our Senior Rugby teams, VPs and Social Members and their guests, and hold annual tournaments with the Luctonians Vixens and Luctonians Cycle Club, the season closing with an 'awards' luncheon for all.
We will provide the boules, so you don't need to have your own so, come on, give it a go. Oh, and bring your sense of humour. Thursdays at 7pm.
