We are so proud to share that Isla has been selected to represent Worcester County at the upcoming Three Counties Gala, where Worcestershire will compete against Staffordshire and Gloucestershire on Sunday 5th July.

Well done Isla — we’ll all be cheering you on!

Five days of racing, three determined swimmers, and a whole lot of heart on poolside at the West Midlands Summer Championships.

Isla, Layla and Amy took on 12 different events across 18 heats, stepping up again and again against some seriously tough competition. The result? Six finals, ten personal bests, and some brilliant racing across the board.

A special mention to Isla for bringing home a fantastic silver medal, plus a spot heat prize to top it off—well deserved after a strong and consistent set of swims.

But beyond the medals and PBs, this was about resilience, learning, and showing up race after race with the right attitude. Proud is an understatement.

Our swimmers took on the Sandwell Spring into Regionals meet (21st–22nd March) and delivered a fantastic set of results, well done to all our swimmers: Amy, Stanley, Esme, Bea, Isla, Hattie, Harvey, George C, Lewis, Mary and Isobel.

What a fantastic weekend for Team Typhoon at the Worcester County Swimming Championships!

Across the weekend we had:
🔥 8 swimmers racing for the club
🔥 30 events contested, including 6 finals
🔥 An incredible 22 personal bests smashed

A massive shout-out to Isla, who is now County Champion in the 100m Backstroke (12 years) 🥇Isla also brought home a silver medal in the 50m Backstroke (12 years) 🥈 — an outstanding achievement. Well done, Isla — we are incredibly proud of you!

From big PB drops to finals swims and podium finishes, the effort, focus and team spirit on show were brilliant to see. Every swimmer stepped up, supported one another and did the club proud — exactly what county championships are all about.

Well done to all our swimmers, coaches and supporters — we go again next weekend! 💪🌪️

Team Typhoon is making a BIG splash at the Worcester County Swimming Championships this year — and we couldn’t be prouder!

We’ve got 10 amazing swimmers (4 boys and 6 girls), aged 11 to 16, representing the club across January and February, and they’ve already kicked things off in style last weekend. Lets give a big shout out to our swimmers, oldest to youngest – Livia, Will, Chloe, Amy, Stanley, Piper, George C, George H, Hatty and Isla!

The two big weekends still to come are:
🏊‍♀️ This weekend — 24th & 25th January
🏊‍♂️ Second weekend — 7th & 8th February

Here’s just how epic their efforts are:
🔥 62 events entered across the championships weekends
🔥 A combined total of 12.65 kilometres to swim (that’s some serious mileage!)
🔥 8 out of 10 of our swimmers are taking on the ever-popular 50m Butterfly
🔥 A special shout-out to Stanley, who is the only swimmer tackling the 200m Butterfly — an absolute beast of an event 💪🐬
🔥 And a huge well done to our two swimmers competing at Counties for the very first time — George H and Hatty - what an achievement!

This is a massive step for our swimmers, Worcester County qualifying times are some of the hardest in the entire country. The dedication, hard training, and determination are all paying off — and we’d love the whole community to get behind them!

💙 Please join us in giving our swimmers a HUGE send-off, lots of encouragement, and all the good vibes for the weekends ahead! 💙

Last weekend the club competed at the City of Bristol Christmas Cracker, and what a fantastic couple of days it turned out to be! Well done to our swimmer Piper, Isla, Toby, George and Annie!

🔹 5 swimmers
🔹 30 events raced
🔹 26 PBs 🤯
🔹 4 medals – 🥇 1 Gold & 🥉🥉🥉 3 Bronze
🔹 5 new county qualifying times ✅

The pool was definitely on the chilly side ❄️, but that didn’t dampen the team spirit, determination, or the brilliant atmosphere poolside. The support and encouragement between swimmers was great to see all weekend.

A special shout-out to Toby, who was competing for the very first time — an excellent performance, great racing, and a brilliant start.👏🏊‍♂️

Huge well done to all swimmers for racing hard, backing each other, and finishing the year on such a high. You should all be incredibly proud — bring on the next one! 💪🎉

As December sneaks up on us, I just wanted to send a quick reminder that our regular club sessions will pause over the two-week Christmas break. But don’t worry—just like in previous years, we’ll still be keeping the festive spirit (and the training!) alive with our Christmas Swims at the Leominster Halo pool. Perfect for breaking up the holiday downtime and keeping us all moving as we head toward Counties in January.

Here are the key dates to pop in your diary:

Last regular training session: Saturday 20th December 2025
Return to regular sessions: Saturday 3rd January 2026

To keep everyone active over the holidays, we’ll be running sessions for all squads on the following dates:

22nd December
23rd December
28th December
2nd January

All swims will take place at Leominster Halo.
Spond invites will be sent out as usual—please do sign up so coaches can plan ahead.

A fantastic weekend of racing for LTSC at the Mappa Mundi Meet, hosted by City of Hereford Swim Club last weekend.

Our 29 swimmers took on 165 events, achieving an incredible 109 Personal Bests – a brilliant reflection of their hard work and commitment in training.

The team brought home an impressive medal haul:
🥇 7 Golds
🥈 17 Silvers
🥉 15 Bronzes

In addition, there were 32 qualifying times for the Worcester County Championships – a superb achievement!

👏 A special shout-out to our members swimming with us for the first time — Charlie C, Esme, Annie, and Charlie G.

Well done to our 5 LTSC Swimmers (Chloe C, Piper, Stanley, Amy and Henry W) who competed in last night long distance events for the Hereford Applefest Swim Meet. Great swims, well done all!

Next up is the sprint events tomorrow, with a big team going! Best of luck to our swimmers: Amy, Anna, Chloe C, Cordelia, Ellie, Ethel, George C, George H, Henry W, Isabelle, Marcie, Piper, Rebecca, Rhys, Rose, Rowan, Ruben, Stanley and Ted!

A huge shout out to LTSC swimmer Isla who was selected to represent Worcester County at this weekend’s Three Counties Gala, contested between Worcestershire, Staffordshire and Gloucestershire. Isla swam the individual 50m backstroke event, and then participated in two relay events (4x50 free and 4x50 IM on the backstroke leg). And Worcestershire won! Well done Isla, we’re very proud of you!
