Straight from the peg, early morning light, and a beautiful common carp to kick-start the day.

But the fish is only half the story. The real catch is the memories. 🐟

Time spent on the bank with your son, away from screens, noise and everyday life. Just rods out, alarms ready, and the two of us enjoying what we love.

The Pretty Side of CARP-X 🎣💋

Olivia has been putting the rods to work and producing some seriously beautiful catches. 🐟🔥

Because carp fishing isn't just about who can get the muddiest or cast the furthest. There's a place on the bank for the ladies too, and Olivia is proving that in style. 💅🎣

There are some fishing trips you remember for the fish you caught… and then there are trips you remember for everything else. 🎣❤️

This week was all about making memories!

Lilly, the youngest active member of

A whole week at the fishing lodge, surrounded by nature, rods on the alarms and plenty of time doing what she loves most. She caught carp after carp, ticked another species off her target list with her first bream 🐟, and most importantly, had the absolute time of her life.

Then came the moment every angler waits for…

Watching her hold that fish after all the hours spent on the bank was something special. The smile said everything.

Fishing isn't just about catching fish.

It's about getting outside.
It's about being surrounded by nature.
It's about learning patience.
It's about creating memories.
And sometimes, it's about passing a passion down to the next generation. ❤️

Seeing your children fall in love with something you love yourself is one of the greatest parts of fishing.

One of those fish you stop and stare at. 🎣🔥

A proper old-school mirror carp, absolutely flawless from head to tail. What a privilege to put this one on the bank. ❤️

The blank sessions, the early mornings, the hours watching motionless indicators… suddenly every minute was worth it.

24 HOURS LATER… 🎣

Yesterday, I had the perfect screamer.

New rig.
New wafter.
Fish feeding hard.

And then… nothing.

One that got away.

So I went back to the exact same spot, with the exact same method, and gave it another shot.

This time… the alarm screamed, the line tightened and the rig did its job. 🔥

After yesterday’s disappointment, this one felt even better.

And what came out was an absolutely beautiful mirror carp. 🤩🐟

That’s the thing about carp fishing.

You can lose one today and be questioning everything…
Then come back tomorrow and it all suddenly makes sense.

The losses teach you.
The persistence rewards you.

Yesterday was the lesson.

Today was the answer. 🎣

Never let one get away convince you to pack up.

Sometimes you just need to go back and give it another go. 💯

🎣 NOT EVERY SCREAMER ENDS IN A CARP.

Perfect screamer.
New rig.
New wafter on the hair.
Fish feeding confidently.

Everything looked right.

Then… nothing. ❌

The hook never found its mark.

And honestly? That’s fishing.

We’re surrounded by posts of 20s, 30s and 40s, perfect photos and successful sessions. But behind every great catch are the runs that got away, the fish that never hooked, the missed opportunities and the sessions where everything seemed right… but the carp had other plans.

Because fishing isn’t just about the fish you land.

It’s about the lessons from the ones you lose.
It’s about questioning your rig.
Changing your approach.
Learning from every mistake.
And coming back next time just a little bit better.

The blank days make the big fish mean more.
The missed fish make the landed ones unforgettable.

So here’s one for the fish that got away. 🐟

No sympathy. No excuses. Just another lesson learned.

Back to the lake.
Back to the drawing board.
Next one isn’t getting away. 🎣🔥

Everyone remembers their first carp... and last night, Jakub created a memory he'll never forget. 🎣🔥
Not long ago, he picked up fishing for the first time. Now he's standing behind an absolute beauty of a carp, and the smile says it all. Moments like this are exactly why we do it.
Fishing isn't just about catching fish. It's about learning, making memories, challenging yourself, and welcoming new people into a sport that gives back far more than it takes.
A massive congratulations to Jakub on landing his first ever carp. Here's to the first of many! 👏🐟

Sometimes it's good to slow things down. 🎣
Ollie headed out for a relaxing feeder session, and the crucians certainly didn't disappoint. One after another, these stunning little gems kept the rod bending, proving you don't always need a monster carp to have an unforgettable day on the bank.
