37 today 🎂

My first birthday without my dad, which has been so much harder than I expected.

But today and Freya gave me an amazing day in London that I’ll genuinely never forget.

Viking Experience, The Shard, Hard Rock Cafe London, family memories, and some of the most thoughtful gifts I’ve ever received.

One moment that hit me hard was Freya spotting a little ladybird right at the top of the Shard.

Grandad coming to say hello 🐞❤️

Tore me in two in the most wholesome way possible.

Huge thank you to everybody who wished me a happy birthday today… you’ve all helped me make it through an incredibly tough day today.

Missing one person more than words can ever explain.

Today marks 17 years of Elite TC.

My mum and sister gave me these cards this morning and honestly… they hit me hard.

The photo on the right was taken on the very first day of demolition, before the gym even existed. That was where the dream started.

The photo on the left was years later after everything the gym became.

“Remember where you started and how you got there.”

I miss him every day.
But I hope I’m still making him proud. ❤️

Dad,

I had the honour of carrying you to your final rest.
Saying goodbye to you was the hardest thing I’ve ever done, and I don’t think I’ll ever be able to find the words for how much it’s broken me.

There’s a hole in my world now, and I don’t know what to do without you.

I’ll miss you so much — your stories, your laugh, your advice, and the way you could make everything feel okay.
I’ll miss working with you at the gym — you’ve been there with me from day one.
Watching Sunderland will never be the same without you by my side.
It hurts so much not having you here.

You weren’t just my dad — you were my hero, my guide, my best mate.
You meant everything to me, and I love you more than words can say.

I promise I’ll look after Mum, Sarah, Noah, Spencer, Freya, Ragnar and Thor for you.
I’ll make sure the family’s safe — just like you always did.

I hope, wherever you are now, you’re proud of me.
I’ll keep going, and I’ll carry you with me in everything I do.
I’m so proud to be your son, and I’ll make sure your legacy lives on.

Thank you to everyone who came to share their love, support and respect for Dad yesterday — it means the absolute world to me and my family.

16 YEARS OF ELITE. 🥊🤼‍♂️🥋🏋🏼‍♂️🔥

I opened back in 2009 with a few mats, a big dream, and a serious love for this game.

Since then, I’ve seen it grow into something way bigger than I ever imagined — a tribe, a second home, a legacy.

We’ve been through blood, sweat, wins, losses, birthdays, busted noses and plenty of laughs (except burpees… burpees are never funny 😂).

Whether you trained for a week or stuck around for years — thank you.
You’ve all helped shape this place into what it is today. And I’m proud of every step we’ve taken.

Here’s to 16 years of graft, growth, and grit… and we’re only just getting started. 👊

WOW!
Last night was something special! 🔥
Huge shout out to for stepping into the cage and defending his welterweight belt on against a tough and skilled opponent, Mikey Tranter. After a hard-fought battle, he locked in a guillotine in round 2 and secured the victory in dominant fashion! 💪🥇

With this win, his record now stands at 6 wins, 0 losses, and 1 draw – and despite that draw, he remains undefeated! What people don’t always see is the countless hours of hard work, sacrifice, and dedication he puts in behind the scenes. Every early morning, every late-night session, and every drop of sweat and blood goes into making him better day after day. He’s relentless in his pursuit of greatness, and last night was proof of that commitment paying off. 💯🔥

I am incredibly proud of this young man, as we all are at . The future looks incredibly bright for this champ! 🌟👊

Today I had the incredible opportunity to lead my very first ever MMA seminar for .miller1984 and his students. Bridging the gap between martial arts and real world self defence.

It was an action-packed 4-hour session filled with lots of grappling techniques.

The energy in the room was absolutely buzzing, and I was blown away by the students’ genuine enthusiasm and eagerness to soak up knowledge.

I want to give a huge thank you to Jamie Miller and his awesome students for making this experience truly unforgettable.
