JPL ALLSTARS TRIALS ⚽️⭐️

A select group of our U13s & U14s attended the Midlands JPL Allstars trials today at West Bromwich Albion Academy.

The boys represented themselves, their teams and Real Bedford Elite in fantastic fashion, showing the attitude, ability and character we expect from our players. 👏

These opportunities are a great platform for our players to test themselves against some of the best talent across the region, experience a different environment and showcase what they can do.

A huge well done to everyone who took part — you should all be proud of your efforts.

Good luck to the boys as we await the results, and we hope to see as many of them progress through to the next round! 🤞

A tough, physical morning for the boys — but a really valuable one. 💪

The fitness is building and there’s plenty to work on, but there were some excellent moments today.

The scoreline could have been bigger, with goals disallowed and the boys hitting the bar and post. ⚽️

⚽️ FITNESS TESTING WEEK AT RBE 📊

It’s been Fitness Testing Week here at RBE, with our players putting themselves through a series of tests looking at flexibility, static power, speed and overall power. 💪

But this isn’t just about numbers.

We’re building a detailed picture of each player, creating valuable data that helps us identify individual areas for development, track progress and build more bespoke development plans around the needs of our players.

The aim is simple — understand where each player is today, identify where they can improve, and give them the tools and support to keep progressing. 📈

A huge thank you to Better Bodies Sports Therapy for another brilliant week of engaging, informative and player-focused sessions. The players have really bought into the process, and the education they’re getting alongside the testing is hugely valuable.

Measure. Understand. Develop. Progress.

WHAT A PERFORMANCE! 👏

Kempston U14 4-3 RBE U13 EJA

A fantastic performance from the boys today against a strong Kempston (u14s) side who have been together a long time and are playing a year up in Division 1. 👏

After going 2-0 down, the boys showed brilliant character to fight their way back into the game, dominating possession and playing some excellent football.

U14s JPL 🔥

A solid performance from our U14s JPL today as they continue to build some excellent pre-season form. 💪

Some really exciting football on show, with the boys playing with confidence, energy and purpose.

Most importantly, it was a fantastic team performance, with everyone playing their role and contributing to the goals. 👏⚽️

Plenty to be excited about as we continue to prepare for the season ahead!

What A Final! 😎🏆

Having not scored a goal all afternoon, we somehow found ourselves in the Silver Cup Play-Off Final! 😂

And then… Kyle Wilson stepped up! 💥 A superb strike to give us the lead.

The boys battled brilliantly to hold on against a physical Elite JR side, but with minutes remaining, a penalty was awarded. Surely it was going to penalties…

Not today! 🧤

Up stepped Elliott, producing a quality save to win the game and secure the Silver Cup! 🏆

Not winning a single game all day and still coming home with a trophy… 😂
