Huge congratulations to Hamamah and Herbie representing Vandyke Upper School at Hickstead last week 🐴

They did us proud competing in both the 60cm and 70cm Grass Roots Regional Championships. Perfect clear rounds and in to the final jump off in the 70cm to finish 21st from 120 starters. What an achievement and a brilliant experience. Well done 🏆🏵️

What a weekend for the Vandyke Equestrian Team at the National Schools Equestrian Association County Championships 2026 held at The All England Jumping Course, Hickstead.

So many placings in very testing conditions at 32° 🥵with a haul of buckets, prizes and rosettes for everyone and a gorgeous winners rug and sash for Evie

80/85cm - Amelie, Harriet, Taija: Team 2nd and Qualified for National Champs

80/85cm - Taija Individual 4th and Qualified for National Champs

90/95cm Inter-County Championship - Evie, Taija, Amelie, Harriet: Team 8th

Congratulations to Amelie, Evie, Harriet and Taija at 90cm and Kyron at 70cm for qualifying for the NSEA county championship 2026.

A lovely clear but just out the placing for Isaac and a fabulous effort from Hamamah at 70cm, plus another great round for Evie at 1.10m.

Lookout for our next event on 19th April for Grassroots and RPL Hickstead qualifiers, County Dressage qualifiers and National combined training qualifiers 🐴🏆

Fantastic day for the Vandyke Equestrian Team with Paige 4th and Hamamah 9th in 60cm, Paige 5th in 70cm, Evie 4th and Taija 6th in 90cm both also taking Team 1st with Harriet and Amelie, finishing a day of fabulous jumping with Evie 3rd in 1.00m. Well done to everyone who took part today 🏵️

Next date for your diary is 6 December for the Grassroots Regional Championship and RPL qualifiers 🏆
