Players & Jesters Cricket Club A wandering cricket team from St. Albans/Harpenden, that only plays Sunday friendlies. Formed in 1976 by actors of the Abbey Theatre. Albans.

We are a club founded in 1976 by actors from the Abbey Theatre in St. The club was originally called 'Abbey Players C.C.' until it merged with Jesters C.C. in 1998 to form 'Players & Jesters C.C.' We play only on Sundays and don't play league cricket, only friendlies. Although the team started as a group of actors, anyone now plays for Players and Jesters, although we do seem to produce some theatrical performances throughout the season!

Due to our oppo pulling out we are looking for a 35 or 40 over friendly this Sunday (2nd Aug). We are Players & Jesters CC, a long established wandering side from Harpenden, Hertfordshire. (www.playersjesters.com)

We will be weak medium in strength and are looking for opponents in the Herts, Beds, Bucks and Middlesex area. It has to be an away fixture for us, home for you
