People think martial arts is intimidating - it’s not. It’s actually very welcoming and judgement free with likeminded people looking for a hobby or to get fit without the gym routines.
People think they need to get ready before starting martial arts. Be fitter or lose weight before they can begin. They don’t. Martial arts will help to do those things and the best time to start is always right now. Your future self will thank you for it.
Lots of people say to me, “I didnt feel like coming training tonight”. Had a long day at work, bad nights sleep, stressed about various things. Nobody ever regrets it after they do come to class. They are always glad and energised afterwards.
Lots of people say to me, “I wish I started earlier or when u was younger”. Nobody ever says “I wish I waited longer or until I was older”.
Whatever your reasons for wanting to start any martial art. Just do it, you definitely won’t regret it.
