Tot Bop Tot Bop provide fun, funky and imaginative dance & creative movement classes to children aged 1-9 in Herts, Beds, Bucks & Northants. Welcome to Tot Bop!

Tot Bop Online brings the magic of our in person classes to your home. Jazz dance and creative movement classes for 1-9 year olds. All our classes are designed to give younger children an inspiring and fun introduction to dance, music and creativity. With a strong focus on rhythm, our funky and imaginative classes are great for building musicality, confidence and co-ordination, alongside getting used to exercising those listening skills and following instruction. Tot Bop classes are a great alternative to baby ballet for those children who like a funkier approach! Younger classes are parent participatory and both you and your little one are guaranteed to have loads of fun and will most definitely get your groove on! Older classes introduce more technique and the challenge is increased, with more complex choreography and routines. Inclusive of boys and girls, all classes are guaranteed to give children an inspiring, super fun & nurturing introduction to dance. All Tot Bop teachers are fully qualified and DBS checked. Based in Leighton Buzzard, we currently hold classes in Leighton Buzzard, Wing Village, Great Billington, Pitstone, Tring, Berkhamsted, Aylesbury and Aston Clinton during term time. Tot Bop dance classes for ages 1-9 resume tomorrow, from Monday 7th September and we CAN’T WAIT to see you all again and welcome along all our newbies too! ❤️

We’ve got a wonderful selection of our super fun, exciting and educational dance exercises and routines planned for you!

What a year it’s been! Not only are we celebrating 10 years of Tot Bop this month but we’re also beyond proud to say we are now a franchise!!! 🎉 It’s been a huge amount of work to get it there, but I’m so excited to be launching our new franchisee classes next week in Tring, Berkhamsted, Chesham, Buckingham and Brackley, alongside our existing ones in Pitstone, Aylesbury, Wing, Aston Clinton & Leighton Buzzard. 🎉

I have a huge passion for helping children learn & flourish through dance and making dance accessible for all … that has always been the aim. I’m delighted to have both Jane and Maddie on board as franchisees and just know they are going to smash it and continue this ethos into the communities in their areas.

Running your own business isn’t easy but with the support of our wonderful community and incredible team, it is hugely fulfilling and beyond rewarding. Thank you all for your incredible support. I consider myself very lucky!

We are SUPER EXCITED to re-open our doors to you all NEXT WEEK, from Monday 7th September, for the launch of our Autumn Term of Tot Bop Dance Classes for ages 1-9! We can't wait to welcome you back and welcome our newbies too! 🤩😍

And it's even more exciting this year as we're launching our Tot Bop Franchisee classes too!!! 🎉So here's what's happening ...

💃🕺 Tot Bop classes in Pitstone, Aylesbury, Wing, Leighton Buzzard and Aston Clinton are continuing as usual.
💃🕺 NEW Tot Bop Classes launching with Maddie in Buckingham and Brackley.
💃🕺 NEW Tot Bop Classes launching with Jane in Tring, Berkhamsted and Chesham.

What makes us different? 🤔
We pride ourselves on underpinning the EYFS (early years foundation stages) framework into everything we do so if you are looking for a fun, funky and imaginative dance class for your child, where learning & fun are delivered in equal measures, then Tot Bop is for you! MEET THE TEAM 👋 …

NAME: Charlie
JOB: Tot Bop Teacher
CLASSES SHE TEACHES:
• Tuesdays at Fairford Leys Church Hall in Aylesbury
• Saturdays at The Anthony Hall in Aston Clinton
• Thursdays for partnership educational settings

Charlie has been teaching for Tot Bop since February this year and she has already made an incredible impact on the children and families in her classes.

Charlie is a professionally trained dancer and dance teacher. Charlie trained at Arts1 School of Performance and then went on to Stella Mann College, graduating with a Trinity College Diploma in Professional Dance and Musical Theatre. Since graduating she has worked abroad as a dancer and Dance Captain with TUI. She has lots of experience teaching young children dance, including teaching RAD Ballet and ISTD Modern and Tap. Charlie loves teaching and is passionate about dance and music and to share in the children’s journey of learning and fun.

Back in May, we announced that Tot Bop placed within the Club Hub Top 100 list of Children’s Activity Providers in the whole of the UK for the 2nd year running! 🎉🎉🎉

Entries for ‘Top 100 Children’s Activity Providers’ were assessed by expert judges, focussing on five key areas: activity benefits, safeguarding, inclusivity, community impact and business achievements.

The list provides parents/carers with the knowledge that providers have demonstrated the benefits of their activity for participants as well as excellent levels of commitment to policy compliance, safeguarding and inclusivity.

We are also super proud to have the highest rating of Quality Assurance, ‘3 Gold Kites’, from ICAP (Institute of Children’s Activity Providers)!!!! 🥳🥳🥳

This gives both us and you parents/carers reassurance that all our policies, systems, syllabus, safe guarding, marketing; all facets of our business are all up to date, effective and watertight.

🌟 TOT BOP NORTH BUCKS & WEST NORTHANTS STARTS NEXT WEEK IN BRACKLEY & BUCKINGHAM!!! 🌟

Our super douper franchisee, Maddie West, for North Bucks & West Northants is so excited to see you all next week, bringing Tot Bop dance classes to the communities of Buckingham and Brackley with preschool classes in September in the following locations:
💃🕺Mondays at Westbury Village Hall, Brackley, NN13 5LA
💃🕺Wednesdays at Lace Hill Sports & Community Centre, Buckingham, MK18 7RR

The timetable each morning is:
• 9.30-10.05am Tiny Tots (ages 1-2½)
• 10.20-11.05am Baby Boppers (ages 2½ - rising 5)

Maddie trained at Arts One School of Performance in Milton Keynes and then went onto MPAA, graduating with a BA Hons degree in Musical Theatre Performance and her ISTD teaching qualifications in modern and tap. Maddie is very experienced teaching dance and musical theatre to all ages; little ones right up to young adults. She has a real passion for dance and teaching dance to the next generation.

Come along and join in one of Maddie’s fabulous parent/carer participatory classes and leap, twist and twirl into the new term. 🌈

Our very wonderful franchisee, Jane Soloman, for Chilterns North is so excited to see you all next week and bring Tot Bop dance classes to the communities of Tring, Berkhamsted and Chesham with preschool classes in the following locations:

Jane is a professional performer with extensive experience across West End theatre, film, and television. Jane initially trained at Tring Park School for the Performing Arts prior to going onto complete a three-year Musical Theatre course at Arts Educational Schools London (ArtsEd). From graduation, she went on to build a successful career across stage and screen. Mum of two, she is super excited to embark on this next teaching chapter of her career and is really looking forward to meeting her new Tot Boppers!
