💚Dear Horse Friends,

Many of you will have seen the footage on Facebook last week of horse owners having to let their horses loose into the woods in the hope that they will survive this awful crisis in the Ukraine.

Equine Rescue Services have provided Craig Harris from Event Paramedic Services with free cover on his 7.5 tonne lorry to drive over to Poland with much needed equine food supplies, rugs and medical equipment for the horses that have been displaced across Ukraine and the reports we have had a lot of them are sadly starving.

They will be part of a vehicle convoy leaving the South West on Wednesday 16th March and hope to leave with three full vehicles.

🐴 Our priority is getting the right feed and equipment out there at the right time; it's vital that we prioritise space with every trip. We have had a good clear out and have a job lot of saddles that we need to get rid of. They're all free but need to be collected all together. Please message us if you are interested.

HI Everyone,

We wanted to touch base with everyone with regard to the coronavirus pandemic.

Of course, the safety of everyone - our lovely clients, liveries, staff and their families is of top priority to us. We have temporarily changed our cancellation notice period so that you are no longer required to give 24 hours notice. You will receive a refund in credit to your account when cancelling a lesson. We ask that if you feel unwell, please cancel your lesson online. If your lesson isn't cancelled then you won't automatically be refunded credit to your account.

We will be taking the following precautions to cut out human contact. We will mount all riders at a mounting block, and not be giving leg-ups ensuring that staff don't come into direct contact with you. We will be wiping down the reins with antibacterial wipes or spray before every ride. We ask you to bring your own hand sanitizer with you and please apply it before and after your ride. We also have hand washing facilities in the toilets, situated at the entrance/ exit of the arena.

We feel that by taking these measures we can still enjoy some much needed fresh air and time in the saddle! As many of our lessons as possible will be outside, including lead rein lessons at the weekend.

We have two full time vacancies for yard positions which will be available from April. We are looking for enthusiastic, conscientious, hard-working staff to join our busy and friendly yard.

Position open to NVQ 2, BHS Stage 2 or BTEC national diploma level 2 or above.

The position will include being involved with pony days and holiday activities & general yard work.

We are happy for you to bring a horse with you but can't offer a live in position. We are based on the Bedfordshire/ Buckinghamshire border.

Unfortunately the great British weather is not on our side this February and more heavy rain and wind is predicted for this Saturday. We will have to cancel our February clear round. We will still run our March event and will carry over all entries for Feb to March.

We have made the decision to postpone our February clear round until the following Saturday (22nd). This is due to storm Dennis! We are sorry for any inconvenience caused, but we feel it's best to put yours and your horses' safety first.
