We’re proud to have been invited to present a live seminar at this year’s Cycling Industry News live show. Come and join us at the event to hear us talking all things Carbon Fibre, and what to look out for in terms of damage, and how to go about getting it repaired. This year’s show is being held at the NAEC Stoneleigh events venue in the beautiful Warwickshire countryside.

Trek Supercaliber with top tube damage following an incident with a car… the damage material was removed and replaced with pre-preg UD and woven composite material before being repainted to match the existing colourway.

This Pinarello Dogma F12 came to us with some serious damage on the chainstay caused by the dreaded “chain suck”. All damaged fibre was removed and replaced with pre-preg UD and woven composite material before being painted to match the existing colourway.

These Easton TT bars came to us with a split along the bottom bar near where the brake lever assembly sits. The damaged fibre was removed and replaced with woven pre-preg material on both inner and outer surfaces to ensure the structural stability was maintained. This was a particularly fiddly job due to the minimal tolerances we had to work with to allow the brake lever compression fitting to still be able to fit inside the bar.

Before & after….. This Trek Domane SL6 came in with some fairly substantial damage to the top tube following an accident. All traces of damaged fibre was removed and replaced with pre-preg UD material, replicating the original structure, before being cured in our composite specific curing oven. The repair was then colour matched with fresh decals being applied.
