First ever solo Hyrox, an absolutely incredible event, fantastic atmosphere, friendliest volunteers and staff πŸ‘

Enjoyed every second of it and truly cannot wait for the next one, which sadly isn't London as I couldn't get a ticket πŸ₯² so we'll have to keep an eye out!

Happy with my time overall and got roughly what I was aiming for, but felt like I had more in the tank, so here's to sub 70 next time and always striving for more πŸ‘Œ

Berkhamsted 5 mile run this past Sunday, chip time 28:42, 4th overall. Cracking route, lovely weather and felt strong, especially on the long incline, so winter training is definitely paying off πŸƒβ€β™‚οΈ

The bastard behind me in photo 2 ended up beating me! Next time...photo 5 I clearly spotted something that made my blood boil πŸ˜…

Next stop Glasgow for Hyrox solo on the 15th 😎

A few short clips of clients I am currently coaching on deadlifts: Chris, and Liam.

They're all making great progress on this very tough exercise, a few little things to still work on but I as a coach need to make sure that they are picking up all the pointers I give and maintaining the correct technique: proper lat and core engagement, keeping the chest up, hinging correctly, among other things.

Chris has progressed from 40KG in January to 50KG by March, Courtney has progressed from 45KG to 55KG in the same window, with Liam going from 35KG in January to 50KG last week.

With one of my 12 week programs, as well as the 1-1 session/sessions, you will also receive, at no extra cost:

- Full nutrition plan and guidance, based on an initial food diary which I will analyse for you.

- An approximate estimate of what your calorie intake needs to be in order to either lose weight, gain muscle or just maintain weight.

- All solo sessions outside of our 1-1 sessions will be planned in full for you, down to exercises, sets, rep ranges, rest times and technique and order etc.

- You will have ongoing virtual support via WhatsApp/messaging to ensure that you are fully supported in every way throughout the program.

- We will have a check-in each week to check on your progress, see how your week has gone and to ensure you are happy and feel you are being fully supported on your journey to achieving your goals!

"I don't have time to exercise, I'm too busy!"

This is something I hear a lot, and something I do sympathise with, as life is sometimes so non-stop you don't have time to think, let alone exercise.

However, take a moment to think about where you could implement a little exercise into your day. Could you do 10 minute abs in the morning? A 20 minute HITT session on your lunch break? A 20 minute brisk walk to the shops instead of a drive?

Even if you do 20 minutes more a day, split into 2 sessions if easier, 6 times a week, that is already 2 more hours of activity than you were doing previously.

Any activity is good, so think about what little changes you can make, and it will all add up and still make a world of difference!
