You need a programme you can stick to💪🏻

While every member in our 6:30am small group customised training session had different abilities and the age range was from 40 to 70, they all had one thing in common:

At Wellness Strength Training, our Adult Small Group Customised Training isn’t about random workouts or trying to leave you exhausted.

⚡ TIMED 10s LEADERBOARD ⚡

Last week marked the end of our Timed 10 Metre Sprint testing, and what a way to finish with some fantastic performances across all age groups 👏

A huge well done to everyone who made the leaderboard and to all the athletes who have worked hard to improve their speed over the past few months.

From this week, we’ve moved on to Flying 10 Metre Sprints.

At Wellness Strength Training, our Youth Athlete Strength & Performance Programme is about much more than just testing speed.

We help young athletes (School Years 6–11) develop:

🛡️ Injury Resilience
🏃 Movement Skills & Athleticism

Shoulder pain isn’t always a shoulder problem.

One of the most common things we see due to everyday life including driving, sitting at a computer, using mobile phones etc, is the shoulder blade (scapula) sitting too far forwards and losing its ability to move well.

Over time this can reduce space at the front of the shoulder, increase stress on the rotator cuff and bicep tendon, and contribute to pain during everyday activities or training.

The good news?

Often the answer isn’t simply resting or avoiding exercise.

It’s understanding why the problem has developed and using the right exercises to improve strength, control and movement quality.

At Wellness Strength Training, every Adult Training For Life member receives exercise modifications and individualised programming based on their movement, injury history and goals.

Plus, we include exercises and interventions to counteract common mobility issues that occur through life.

Because training should help you move better, not just make you tired.
