West Leigh Swim school is a highly reputable swim school based in the grounds of West Leigh School in Leigh on Sea with a large indoor heated swimming pool. All our teachers are A.S.A qualified and take pride and care in getting Individuals to learn to swim correctly and welcome everyone of all ages abilities.We offer classes for parent and baby, toddler lessons, after-school lessons through to ad

vanced coaching. We also hold adult classes as well as aqua aerobics and swimming pool parties. During the school holidays we run intensive swimming crash courses and offer 1:1 swimming lessons. All enquiries, please call or email.

We are running an intensive swimming course the FIRST week of the Easter holiday's only and this WILL include a lesson on the Good Friday.

I anticipate this to be very popular and places will be confirmed on a first come, first served basis.

HAPPY NEW YEAR! 🥳
I hope you all had a wonderful Christmas.

I am currently experiencing problems with sending out all the new term information via email - my emails are being rejected for some reason so please bear with me whilst I try to resolve this 🙈

In the meantime, to confirm, the new January 2026 term starts back next week, w/c Monday 5th January.

This is an 11-week term taking us through until the Easter holidays. The fees are illustrated below and can be viewed on ParentPay and at the pool also.

We look forward to seeing everyone back next week 🏊

All the new academic year madness seems to have calmed slightly so now it's time to share with you the details of our October half term crash course 🏊

Please note, demand is very high for our crash courses and I endeavour to reply to you as soon as possible. Bookings are taken on a first come, first served basis subject to a £10 (non-refundable) deposit.

I am receiving a very high volume of enquiries and buried under a lot of admin so please bear with me! 😅

To clarify; all swimming returns THIS WEEK and we look forward to seeing our existing swimmers and welcoming our new swimmers to the pool 🏊🏼

ALL swimming fees are due please.
If you’re a new swimmer, online ParentPay credentials will be sent to you by the end of this week - I haven’t forgotten about you.

ParentPay is still to be used for all out of swimming lessons. We will be transitioning to the new Arbour system soon details of which will be sent to you in due course.

You can also pay for the lessons by cash or cheque.

I endeavour to reply to you as soon as possible but this may take longer due to the excessive amount of emails/paperwork I am trying to get through.

Happy 1st September 😀
Sorry for the radio silence but I’ve been enjoying the holidays way too much!
The countdown is on for the children returning to school (who hasn’t been counting down the days for the past week 😅).

A reminder that:

- ALL swimming returns w/c Monday 8th September 🏊🏼

- All the important term details/enrolment information will be sent to everyone by the end of this week.

- ALL swimming fees are payable from next week (please do not try to pay online before then). Please pay promptly!

- I will be back in the office on Wednesday 3rd September replying to emails so please bear with me

COACHING CRASH COURSE 📢

With the long summer break, our advanced coaching crash course is perfect to get in some intense swim sessions over the summer!

‼️ This is aimed at children with 100m+ ONLY and those who have excellent technique and understanding in the 3 main swimming strokes (not including Butterfly).

**NO SWIMMING - TUESDAY 1ST JULY **

I know it’s the hottest day of the year and everyone is desperate to cool off in the pool but the swim school is closed for the rest of the day today due to mechanical issues with our automatic dosing machine 😩
An engineer is due to arrive later to hopefully resolve the problem!
Please accept my sincere apologies for this!
