SEND Class at Little Steps Gym💚

We have seen so much growth and progress from the children in the session and are so proud of them all⭐️

Here are some highlights of our SEND class in collaboration with 🌸

The class is child led but follows a loose structure, to avoid any pressure on the children and parents. We start with a short warm up and then explore the equipment with support from the coaches🤸

Moving on to a hand apparatus, trying different skills using the hand apparatus of the week. We then end with our classic Teddy Bear song, helping the children understand that it is now home time🧸

THEME OF THE WEEK⭐️

This weeks theme is The Bear Hunt!🐻

We follow the Michael Rosen story for “The Bear Hunt” and go on an adventure to find the Little Steps bear! We go through the grass, the mud, the snow, the forest, moving our bodies in different ways to get through to the cave🪨

Teacher Appreciation Week💚

Teachers, coaches and mentors each have different roles in people’s lives. At Little Steps, we build connections, confidence and create a safe and fun environment for our gymnasts. We include everyone and make sure our sessions have you leaving with a smile - we couldn’t do this without our coaches!⭐️
