Yesterday’s AVT Weightlifting Club session was all about PULLING.

The group are currently working through a strength phase, focusing on building a stronger back, improving posterior chain strength, and developing better pulling mechanics.

This session included:

✅ Single Arm High-to-Low Pulldown
✅ Barbell Upright Row
✅ Dumbbell Bent Over Row
✅ Meadows Row
✅ Kettlebell Romanian Deadlift

Every exercise has a purpose. The rows target the upper and mid-back, the pulldowns build lat strength and stability, while the RDLs strengthen the glutes and hamstrings—the powerhouse muscles behind lifting performance and injury resilience.

Strength training isn’t about randomly picking exercises. It’s about following a structured plan, progressing consistently, and doing the basics exceptionally well.

Most Gyms Do Classes. We Do Goal-Specific Sessions.

The problem with most fitness classes is that they’re designed for everyone.

And when something is designed for everyone, it usually works perfectly for no one.

In a typical class, you’ll have people trying to lose weight, build muscle, improve fitness, recover from injury, and get stronger — all doing the exact same workout.

Part-3 - The 5-Keay area's for Fat Loss.

Most people don't fail fat loss because they lack willpower.
They fail because they're trying to follow a nutrition plan that doesn't fit their life.

Skipping meals. Cutting out entire food groups. Living on salads. Trying to survive on as few calories as possible.

It might work for a few weeks, but eventually hunger, cravings and real life catch up.
The goal isn't to find the quickest way to lose weight.
The goal is to find a way of eating that you can still follow six months from now.

A few simple rules we teach our members:

✅ Include protein with every meal
✅ Eat plenty of fruit and vegetables
✅ Stay hydrated
✅ Plan ahead for busy days
✅ Focus on consistency, not perfection
Remember, fat loss isn't about what you do occasionally.

It's about what you do repeatedly.
One meal won't make or break your progress.
What matters is the habits you can stick to week after week.

If you're constantly starting over every Monday, it might be time to stop looking for the perfect diet and start building a sustainable one.

A bit of Friday motivation for everyone.

A huge shoutout to James, who absolutely smashed the Nuclear Races last weekend.

When James first came to us, he was stuck in a rut. He wasn’t exercising, had lost confidence in himself, and had put on a fair bit of weight. But instead of accepting where he was, he made the decision to change it.

Since working with us, not only has he achieved some incredible weight loss and strength goals, but he’s also built his fitness to a level where he can now complete obstacle races like this.

Proof that with consistency, support, and hard work, you can completely transform your life.

Motivation isn’t something you find.
It’s something you earn.

Most people are waiting to feel ready before they begin.

Waiting for confidence.
Waiting for energy.
Waiting for the perfect moment.

But the truth is…

the people who achieve incredible things usually started with none of those.

They just started.
One workout.
One early morning.
One hard decision.
One promise to themselves they refused to break.

And that first step creates momentum.
Momentum becomes consistency.
Consistency becomes dedication.
Dedication produces results.
And suddenly the thing you were searching for finally appears…
Motivation.

That’s the irony of it all.

You often have to work for the thing that makes you want to work harder.

The confidence comes after showing up.

The belief comes after proving to yourself you can.
The fire comes after seeing progress.
So stop waiting to feel motivated.
