Good luck to all our teams kicking off their seasons this morning. 6 games at the Rec today.

With the building work ongoing at the Recreation Ground, there will continue to be no parking available on match days.

As the football season get's into full swing, we are aware that there will be increased pressure for parking on a Sunday.

We have asked all local players and parents to walk to the park where possible.

We have also requested that all those driving to games, especially visiting teams, park respectfully in the surrounding area if the car park is full.

We thank you for your patience and understanding of these matters, which are out of our control.

Thank you to the mindless idiots in our village that have finally destroyed the dugouts on the bottom football pitch at the Rec.

Yes, they were not great (thanks to previous vandalism), but we were costing up repairs or replacements.

They have now been completely removed for safety purposes.

We hope these idiots are 'proud' that they have deprived our players of a useful amenity.
