Was great to host our friends today from Gracie Barra Mansfield!!!
We had a little seminar for the kids with Professor Shane (GB Mansfield) & Professor Jamie (GB Leicester).
Followed by some live interclub, competitive rolling to get the kids used to a more live, competition scenario without as much pressure.
We had a bite to eat and a bit of time on a bouncy castle for the kids to cement some social bonds afterwards.
An amazing time had by all!!!

Very well deserved promotions three guys who are consistent and have been with us for sime time now!
Jake Williams and Dan Williams have medalled consistently in comps for a while now and Rafał Barnuś in his last 3 comps has hit gold every comp, subbed all of his opponents and i’m sure if he has even dropped any points 👊👊👊

Stripes and belts tonight at GB Leicester.
Congrats to Rafal and Lucasz on their stripes!
Two new blue belts awarded tonight to Travis Pinder, constantly and consistently being the smaller guy in the gym but always giving as good as he gets and making sure technique prevails & Alper Gunes improving all the time and putting in the work!
Both very well deserved promotions - both guys have proven themselves in the gym, time served, and also in competition.
Lastly we had our newest purple belt promotion for Ben Bettany.
Came to us as a very insecure 18stone and 7yr younger man working in a school kitchen.
Fast forward 7yrs and around 6 stone lighter, working with troubled teenagers as a very valuable career, is helping coaching our childrens team, become a lot more confident in the gym and out, still talks too much but has learned to recognise when its enough (but usually still carries on), and is now a purple belt!
Great work from all. Very proud coaches to have awarded these guys their promotions today.
