At the end of a very busy showing season for the Ushers Flock, shears oiled, white coats washed and everything packed away.

I’m immensely proud of how the next generation, especially Grandchildren Meredith and Sidney, have taken the showing experience on and done so well too.🏆🥇🥈🥉

I have enjoyed helping with all the preparations at home, and at the shows supported them too, did even show a couple of times!

Here’s to 2027 for the Ushers flock 🐏🐏🐏🐏

Day made! 💙🐮

Sidney was absolutely thrilled to take the gorgeous Prestfords Dexter in the Grand Parade at Moreton Show. What an unforgettable experience and such a wonderful way to end the show season!

A very special thank you to Kinglee Poll Herefords and Prestford Herefords for making one little boy’s day so incredibly special ✨

Safe to say… we now have a little boy who has added a Hereford calf to the top of his birthday wish list! 🤣🐮

We’ve had the best weekend camping at Moreton Show!

A huge congratulations to our amazing young handlers:

🐑 🥉Meredith & Ushers Nitro – 3rd in the 9–12 years Young Handler class against an incredible 25 competitors.

🐑 🏅Sidney & Ushers Nellie – 6th in the 4–8 years Young Handler class against a fantastic 31 competitors.

We couldn’t be prouder of both of them. They stayed focused and patient for almost an hour while the judge carefully considered every entry!

Our sheep also had a great day in the native breeds ring:

🏆 1st Shearling Ram – Ushers Mountain
🏅 4th Ram Lamb – Ushers Nitro
🏅 6th Ram Lamb – Ushers Neptune

To top it all off, the whole team took part in the Grand Parade – a fantastic opportunity to showcase the wonderful Shropshire breed to the public.

What a fantastic morning at Misterton & District Riding Club. It was lovely to see our young handlers swapping their sheep for ponies and having just as much fun over the jumps!

What a fantastic day at Leicestershire County Show! 🌟

It was extra special as three-year-old Zara joined us for her very first show – and she absolutely loved every minute! 🥰 We couldn’t be prouder of all the children and they had so much fun!

A huge congratulations to Meredith on her Young Handler Champion title, and to Sidney for his Fancy Dress win! 🎉

Days like these are what it’s all about – making memories, having fun, and encouraging the next generation of young shepherds❤️🐑
