Do you know any young people aged 16+ looking for work experience?

Or maybe they’re looking to add some volunteering to their CV, personal statements or job applications?

If they can spare a few hours on Sunday 11th October, we have the perfect volunteering opportunity for them!

The Run Leicester Festival takes place on Victoria Park and we are urgently looking for volunteers to help out for a few hours on jobs like:

🥇Giving out medals/snacks/bananas/water
🎽Selling t shirts and merchandise
📣Directing people, crowd control and cheering runners.

In return for a few hours of their time, they’ll get valuable work experience, supporting a brilliant community event to raise funds for a well-loved, local charity. Now that would look good on a CV or UCAS form!

There’s also a great feel-good atmosphere, a lovely team to show them what to do and we’ll also provide refreshments! Why not bring a friend and volunteer together?

Our overseas speaking from the heart after the last game of this season. Everyone at the club would like to extend their thanks to Alex for his outstanding efforts during the season.

Well done to everyone who has contributed during the year, from players to umpires to coaches to sponsors to all volunteers at the club. You all make club cricket great.
