About me: My name is James "The Punisher" Punch and I'm now running Battle Tested Kickboxing at The Tudor Centre, following successful coaching at Featherstone Kickboxing and Battle Tested Kickboxing in Wolverhampton. I'm a third Dan black belt Kickboxing instructor with over 18 years coaching experience. I have been training in kickboxing, Thai boxing, modern karate and self defence for over 28 years and during this time have competed in full contact, light continuous and semi contact fighting styles and have represented Team GB in full contact. I have achieved titles including Midlands Area and National Champion with well over 100 fights experience. I have trained under Featherstone Kickboxing Club with Instructor Paul Whitehouse. I am also a qualified close protection officer / bodyguard and self defence specialist. Im experienced within conflict management and restraint. I also have several qualifications within health and fitness, nutrition, weight management, strength and conditioning and special needs instruction. The Tudor Centre club will run every week on a Saturday morning between 10 and 11 and we all train together, fight together and achieve together!! Sessions will cover Kickboxing, Thai Boxing, restraints, takedowns/throws, groundwork, sparring, pad work, technique & self-defence. I will also be running regular kickboxing gradings as well as running competitions / interclubs if students want to fight and I will take fighters to shows. PLEASE BE AWARE THAT AFTER 1 MONTHS TRAINING, STUDENTS WILL BE REQUIRED TO PURCHASE A LICENCE TO COVER THEM FOR GRADINGS AND INSURANCE PURPOSES. BUYING A UNIFORM AND CORRECT EQUIPMENT IS ALSO HIGHLY RECOMMENDED AND CAN BE BROUGHT FROM MYSELF AT REDUCED COSTS.
