History

Founded in 1921 by members ot the Young Men's Class of Cavendish Road PM Church.[33] Aylestonians formed one of the many inner city rugby clubs at the time. Unfortunately due to various reasons a lot of these clubs have disappeared. Throughout this difficult period, Aylestonians RFC have managed to continue in being a fun, family orientated club regardless of the levels of rugby it has be

en involved in. Aylestonians RFC now finds itself with a rugby squad formed of old, not so old and young players, of all abilities and experience. The club is now on a sound financial footing and is generating a modest profit that is enabling it to develop the on and off field aspects of ARFC.[34]

In May 2013 Aylestonians are hosting the first end of season charity rugby 7's tournament.
