A big thank you to everyone who came along to our birthday event on Sunday. It was lovely to see so many members, both past and present, at the club to celebrate. We definitely had 80+ for our 80th !! Think everyone enjoyed the Pimm’s, buffet and exhibition charting 1946 - 2026 alongside the chat. Plus some OGTC tournament matches and the Mercury Cup final (Oadby vs David Lloyd) to watch.

Huge congratulations to our Mercury Cup team who won this afternoon’s final against David Lloyd Narborough to retain the trophy. A great way to round off our 80th birthday celebrations!

Congrats to today’s team Oli (captain), Ben, Jack, Charlotte, Emily and Tabitha plus other club members who played in earlier rounds.

Congratulations to Oadby Ladies NCL team who won their playoff at the NCL finals in Bournemouth at the weekend coming joint 5th place .

Huge congratulations to Oadby Ladies' 1st team who won their last match of the season tonight. This result means the team have now won the Leicestershire League's Premier Division for the 2nd year running.

As well as those in tonight's photo, other squad members who have helped the team's success are Amy, Jane C, Kate and Victoria.

Big thanks to team captain Tabitha too !

Next step, the NCL play offs in Bournemouth in 10 days' time.

The 2026 LTA Leicestershire Tennis Festival/Tournament came to an end this weekend after 9 days of great tennis and with 24 club members taking part. Huge congratulations to Oadby winners and finalists : -
