Jack initially rocked up for a Kickboxing bout at the most recent 𝙁𝙄𝙂𝙃𝙏𝙎𝙏𝘼𝙍 𝙄𝙉𝙏𝙀𝙍𝘾𝙇𝙐𝘽. His team mate who suffered an injury at a grappling comp was unable to compete and left his opponent on the day unmatched in MMA.

Now, bearing in mind Jack has zero grappling experience, I asked him if he fancied getting the cage and stepping in for his team mate as they were the same weight.

Jack "Nah I can't grapple..."
Harcus "You can clinch right?"
Jack "F**k it, shall I just do it?"
Harcus "That's the spirit!"

Jack remained composed and calm despite going into something completely alien to him being MMA.

Jack showed his opponent a superior masterclass in Striking and utilised his clinch and Muay Khao skills and dominated using skill and control.

I saw at one point that he was trying to figure out the standing darce choke 😆 soon reverted back to clinch and knees.

He also, showed a lot of control and composure in his Kickboxing bout, landed the cleaner better timed shots against an aggressive opponent.

Ultimately this resulted in ᴊᴀᴄᴋ
winning a prize giveaway by PFX Sports, who kitted him out with a range of gear which I hope he will put to use in his training today!

Again a big thank you to 𝙁𝙄𝙂𝙃𝙏𝙎𝙏𝘼𝙍 𝙄𝙉𝙏𝙀𝙍𝘾𝙇𝙐𝘽 for providing a safe and professional platform for upcoming fighters across MMA, Boxing and Kickboxing.

It's been a while since we have been at an Interclub recently, but it was nice to visit the infamous Fearless MMA home to Coach Kamby Wrestling and

We had a mix of 7 Juniors and 1 Adult competing across MMA, Boxing and Kickboxing, all of whom did exceptionally well and took away lots.

As a coach you are always looking for perfection and there is always lots to work on following these outings, and that isn't to take away the courage it takes to step in with most of the fighters being their first time competing.

Interclubs run by 𝙁𝙄𝙂𝙃𝙏𝙎𝙏𝘼𝙍 𝙄𝙉𝙏𝙀𝙍𝘾𝙇𝙐𝘽 allow young people and adults to gain valuable experience and to get a sound understanding of the levels it takes before the next level, being amateur bouts.

Jas exceptional referring, keeping things safe and fair. His passion as a fighter echoes through his referring and it's always a pleasure catching up.

We also had the pleasure of meeting the faces behind PFX Sports and they had some good quality gear on offer. We look forward to communicating in the very near future as we plan to upgrade some of the gear at the new home for TCA.

I have to say the highlight for me was ᴊᴀᴄᴋ stepping in to replace an injured teammate and bear in mind he has zero grappling experience, we had a chat and he said "ah f**k it let's do it" one of the many reasons we get along, we joked and said he has the whole of the Muay Thai community resting on his shoulders as he took on an MMA fighter. Safe to say he dominated the fight, Muay Thai 1 - MMA 0 😆

What a day at the Leicester Grappling Series Summer Open! 🥋🔥

We took a team of 9 competitors to the mats today, and 7 of them came home with medals — an incredible effort from everyone who stepped up and represented the team.

🥇 3 Gold
🥈 2 Silver
🥉 2 Bronze

That's a total of 7 medals from 9 competitors and a fantastic reflection of the hard work, consistency, and commitment shown in training every week.

Win, lose, or draw, we're proud of every athlete who competed today. The courage to test yourself under pressure is what competition is all about, and our team showed that in abundance.

A huge thank you to the coaches, training partners, supporters, and families who continue to help make days like this possible.

Back to the academy next week with plenty to build on. Congratulations to all our competitors! 👏💪

From doing what we love most on Saturday to then attending the Haus of Respect event by on the Sunday, Coach Harcus and Tiago Cabral had the pleasure to network with an array of inspirational people that have endured DV or are ones that can lead the change in reducing DV and raising awareness about how to combat the seriousness and different forms of DV which isn't always physical.

We also met the winner of Big Brother 2005 at the event whom we had the pleasure of having a good chat with before his inspiring keynote speech. Loved his approach and the importance of never giving up, check out his project called "Never Throw in the Towel" tackling mental health amongst men.

Following our Open Day on the 25th, we’ve had an unreal turnout of friends, family, and both new and familiar faces through the doors of the new site — and the vibes have been ELECTRIC ⚡️

Today’s boxing session wrapped up the final prep for ahead of his Pro K-1 fight at in Leicester this Saturday 30th May 🥊

Standing tickets are almost gone, which means the atmosphere is going to be LOUD 🔥

We've made the move after 10 years of taking over and the new place is looking amazing!!

Our official Open Day is welcome to you all, come check out the new facilities, ask us about joining and find out more.

It's going to be a scorcher of a day so we are hopefully going to get an Ice Cream van outside to help keep you cool, so stay tuned!

A busy one last night! The new grappling room dedicated to our BJJ classes is already proving to be a great addition to the new academy. 40mm padded flooring and 25mm padded walls!

Come check us out at the open day which will be on the 25th May from 2 pm till 5 pm!

2 for 2 wins on Ring Wars 19 hosted by and and what a show it was, the atmosphere was electric and the fights were exciting with many left on the edge of their seats!

always brings an exciting fight, a true testament to how he trains, head down and focused. In his second K-1 bout, George has improved in many areas and stunned his opponent a number of times and I truly felt he could have got the finish but he decided to fight smart and came away with the UD knowing he was dominating from the start.

made his junior K-1 debut fight (yes junior, the kid is only 16 but was one of the tallest in the building!). He was a bundle of nerves in the back when preparing him, but he took his time and focused on his breathing, composed himself and executed the game plan almost to perfection, made a few errors but we know this is part of the process. Regardless, Ash came away with a 1st round TKO on his debut and was stunned that he had that much power. Have confidence in what I tell you kid, I've always said you pack a punch and you certainly did so on the night!

Well, it's been 10 years since we took over and we have grown in many aspects, as a team, as a business and most importantly as a family.

Over the past 2 months the work has been happening behind the scenes and we were anticipating an open day on the 4th May, however, we are not quite ready to show everyone the final product.

That being said classes will recommence on the 5th May whilst the outstanding work gets completed.

Stay tuned as we will update you all on an open day where we will be inviting friends, family and new faces to check out the amazing new home of TCA!

A huge shout-out to the man who can, Harvi .works.tradesman he has put in relentless time, effort and expertise so far and we couldn't have done it without him.

Also to the ring and mats/padded walls are amazing. Highly recommended to anyone looking to do a new fit/facelift.
