You’re not failing because you lack motivation.

You’re failing because you’re guessing.

Most people trying to get in shape are actually making a decent effort.

They’re training.

They’re trying to eat better.

They’re cutting back on the rubbish.

But they’re still frustrated.

Why?

Because effort without direction rarely produces exceptional results.

This client had tried before.

He’d made progress before.

But he was never truly dialled in.

So he made a decision.

Instead of trying to figure it all out himself, he joined my 12-week REFORGE Mentorship Programme.

Here’s what happened in just ONE month:

87kg → 84kg

28.3% Body Fat → 23.3% Body Fat

35.5kg Muscle → 36.6kg Muscle

Read that again.

He lost fat.

Built muscle.

And completely changed the trajectory of his results.

This is why REFORGE isn’t just another training programme.

It isn’t another meal plan.

And it definitely isn’t another “eat less and move more” approach.

Inside REFORGE we get obsessive about the details.

Training.

Nutrition.

Recovery.

Sleep.

Stress.

Lifestyle.

Body composition.

And where needed, blood work and health markers.

We gather as much data as possible so we’re making decisions based on facts.

Not feelings.

Not gym myths.

Not guesswork.

The result?

Clients who finally stop spinning their wheels.

We’ve had clients lose 20kg+.

Drop over 10% body fat.

Completely transform their energy, confidence and health.

Not because they suddenly became more motivated.

Because they finally had a plan.

If you’re a busy professional who’s tired of starting over and wants to see what’s actually possible when you get dialled in...

The debate about social media for under 16s has got a lot of people talking.

Whether you agree with a ban or not, I think most of us can agree on one thing...

Kids today are spending less time moving, less time socialising face-to-face and more time staring at screens.

As a coach, I’ve seen first-hand the positive impact that sport and physical activity can have on young people.

It’s not just about fitness.

It’s about confidence.

It’s about resilience.

It’s about learning how to communicate, make friends, deal with setbacks and solve problems.

These are skills that can’t be learned through a screen.

One of the reasons my wife and I encouraged our daughter to get involved in activities from a young age was because we wanted her to have opportunities to be active, social and develop those life skills that come from being around other people.

The fitter, stronger and more confident our children become, the better equipped they are to deal with the challenges of modern life.

That’s why youth fitness, sport and physical activity are so important.

Less screen time.

More movement.

More confidence.

More real-world experiences.

What are your thoughts on social media for under 16s?

Want to live longer?

Most people think the answer is eating more salads, taking supplements, or going for the occasional walk.

While those things can help, a recent study found that just 90 minutes of strength training per week was associated with a 13% lower risk of premature death.

The benefits didn’t stop there.

Participants also had a:

• 19% lower risk of death from cardiovascular disease
• 27% lower risk of death from neurological diseases such as dementia

This is why I’m such a big believer in strength training.

Not because I want everyone to look like a bodybuilder.

Because every week I speak to people who are worried about:

* Developing diabetes
* High cholesterol
* Heart disease
* Losing their mobility
* Becoming dependent on family as they get older

Muscle isn’t just something that helps you look better in a t-shirt.

It’s an organ that helps regulate blood sugar, supports bone health, improves balance, and allows you to stay active and independent for longer.

The goal isn’t simply to live longer.

The goal is to reach your 70s, 80s and beyond still able to travel, play with your grandchildren, get off the floor, carry your shopping and enjoy life.

The good news?

You don’t need to live in the gym.

Just 2-3 strength training sessions per week could make a huge difference.

How many strength sessions are you currently doing each week?

Muay Thai Sessions at TFF Fitness, Barkby Road, LE4 9LG

The world feels different lately.

People feel more anxious.
Less confident.
Less safe.

And deep down, a lot of people know they should probably learn how to protect themselves and the people they care about…

But most never do anything about it.

That’s exactly why we started our Muay Thai classes at TFF.

Muay Thai is one of the most practical and effective martial arts in the world for:
• Self defence
• Fitness
• Confidence
• Stress relief
• Mental resilience

Known as “The Art of Eight Limbs”, Muay Thai teaches you how to use punches, kicks, knees and elbows in a practical, controlled and structured way.

But this isn’t some intimidating fighter gym.

Our classes are designed for everyday people and complete beginners who want to:
• Feel fitter
• Feel stronger
• Feel more capable
• Learn real skills
• Build confidence
• Push themselves mentally and physically

Every session is coached in a supportive environment with small groups limited to just 10 people, so you actually get proper attention and help.

Led by an experienced ex Muay Thai fighter who has trained at some of the top gyms in Thailand.

Wednesdays – 6:30PM
Fridays – 6:30PM

£10 per session
(Paid monthly in advance)

Are you eating enough protein?

Probably not.

Protein has become one of the biggest buzzwords in the fitness industry recently.

Everywhere you look there’s another “high protein” product being pushed at you.

Protein cereals.
Protein yoghurts.
Protein chocolate.
Even protein water.

But WHY is protein actually important?

Protein is made up of amino acids — the building blocks your body uses for repair, recovery and maintaining muscle tissue.

And no… this isn’t just important for bodybuilders.

As we get older, maintaining muscle becomes incredibly important for:

• Metabolism
• Energy levels
• Strength
• Posture
• Injury prevention
• Long-term health

One of the biggest mistakes people make when trying to lose weight is not eating enough protein.

Why?

Because when you’re dieting, your body can lose muscle as well as fat.

The less muscle you have, the lower your metabolic rate can become.

Protein also helps massively with hunger and cravings because it keeps you fuller for longer.

So how much protein do you actually need?

Most evidence-based recommendations suggest around 1.6–2.2g of protein per kilogram of bodyweight depending on your goals and activity levels.

So for example…

A 70kg person would likely benefit from around 112g+ of protein per day.

That said, protein intake should always be individualised based on:

• Goals
• Lifestyle
• Activity levels
• Lean body mass
• Current eating habits

That’s why at TFF we assess all of this before making recommendations rather than throwing generic numbers at people.

If you found this useful, share it with someone trying to lose weight or improve their health.

And if you’d like me to send you a list of high-protein foods and easy protein swaps, comment:

20-year-old you vs 40-year-old you.

Let’s be honest…

When most people hit their 40s and beyond, the battle to get back into shape isn’t just physical anymore.

It becomes internal.

You’re no longer just fighting with workouts and nutrition…
you’re fighting:

* stress
* exhaustion
* responsibilities
* old habits
* injuries
* low energy
* and the identity you’ve built over decades.

And sometimes the reminder that you’re not 22 anymore comes very quickly…

Usually when your back aches getting out of bed in the morning.

One of the biggest lessons I’ve learned over the years coaching people — and studying biomechanics, movement and human performance — is this:

As we get older, training has to evolve.

You can’t always train the same way you did in your 20s.

Your recovery changes.
Your joints change.
Your stress load changes.
Your movement quality changes.

And if you ignore that and simply try to “push harder,” eventually your body pushes back.

That doesn’t mean getting into incredible shape after 40 is impossible.

Far from it.

It just means you need a smarter, more individualised approach.

That’s why when somebody starts with us, we don’t just throw them into random workouts and hope for the best.

We assess movement.
We look at lifestyle.
We consider stress, injuries, recovery and goals.

Because long-term transformation after 40 is about training intelligently — not just intensely.

Some kids walk into a room…

…and you feel it instantly.

Eiliyah was one of those kids.

Always smiling.
Always full of energy.
Always ready to go.

She didn’t just turn up to sessions — she brought life to them.
Her spirit, her enthusiasm, her little warrior mindset… it lifted everyone around her.

You could see it in the way she stood.
Gloves up. Eyes focused. Confident. Fearless.

At just 7 years old, she had a presence that most people spend a lifetime trying to build.

And that’s what makes this so hard.

We lost someone truly special.

انا لله وانا اليه راجعون
“Indeed, we belong to Allah, and indeed to Him we will return.”

In moments like this, words never feel enough…
but we hold onto faith, and the belief that her soul has returned to its Creator.

What she brought into this world — even in such a short time — won’t be forgotten.

Not by us.
Not by her teammates.
Not by anyone who had the privilege of seeing her step onto those mats.

Rest easy, little warrior.

You’ll always be part of TFF

Most women don’t have a “fat loss” problem…
They have a fear of building muscle problem.

“I don’t want to get too muscular… I just want to be lean, toned and sexy.”

This is exactly why you’re stuck.

Because the body you say you want…

Is built the exact same way as the one you’re trying to avoid.

Let me make this simple:

If you don’t want to look like A
And you want to look like B

Then you need to train like A.

Because B isn’t doing pink dumbbells and 20-minute circuits.

She’s lifting properly.
She’s training hard.
She’s building muscle.

And here’s the truth most people won’t tell you…

You are NOT going to accidentally become a female bodybuilder.

It doesn’t happen like that.

To get that look requires:

Years of high-volume training
Extreme levels of intensity
Very specific nutrition
And in many cases… performance-enhancing drugs

You training 3 times a week is not taking you there.

Not even close.

But you know what will happen if you keep avoiding weights?

You stay soft.
You stay frustrated.
You keep chasing “toned” without ever achieving it.

Because “toned” isn’t a workout style.

It’s muscle.

So if you actually want that lean, defined, confident look…

Stop training like you’re trying to avoid muscle.

And start training like someone who’s trying to build it.

12/02/2026

You don’t actually want a six pack.

That’s just what you tell yourself.

What you really want?

To feel proud when your kids look at you.
To walk them down the aisle one day without a stick in your hand.
To go to the doctor and hear, “Everything looks great.”
To move without pain.
To feel sharp. Capable. Dangerous again.

That’s the part no one talks about.

Because it’s easier to sell abs than it is to talk about legacy.

Here’s the uncomfortable truth…

When you focus only on fat loss or muscle gain, motivation fades.
When you focus on price, you hesitate.
When you treat fitness like a cosmetic upgrade, you quit when it gets inconvenient.

But when you train for something priceless?

Everything changes.

The cost becomes an investment.
The workouts become non-negotiable.
The discipline becomes automatic.

Because now it’s not about looking good for a Friday night.

It’s about who you are becoming.

That’s the shift.

If you’re ready to train for something bigger than aesthetics, drop me a message and let’s talk.

No fluff. Just results that actually matter.
