From The Ground Up School Of Wrestling Leicester From the ground up is a 4000sqft wrestling facility run by head coach, Gareth Harris in Leicester. The film is due to be released in cinemas in early 2018.

From the ground up school of wrestling opens its doors for the first time on September 17th 2017 in Leicester, England. The class timetable is as follows
Weekday classes are all 6.30-8.30pm
Tuesday
Wednesday
Friday

Saturday 12-2pm

Sunday
Kids 11-12pm ages (5-14years )
Adults 12.30-3.30pm ages (14 upwards)

Our head coach, Gareth Harris has a wealth of knowledge and experience in the traditional British wrestling style, something that is very rarely come across in the country today. His dedication and nurturing mentality towards all of his students is incredibly motivating. He has also had a huge part in developing talent that have gone on to work for some of the biggest wrestling promotions in the world, such as All-Star Wrestling, European Wrestling promotions and World Wrestling Entertainment. From the start of 2017 to early April, Gareth alongside British wrestling standout, Jack Starz were heavily involved in the upcoming Stephen Merchant directed/produced film, Fighting with my Family. They both played a large part working along side the stunt coordinator, Paul Herbert and training cast members how to wrestle such as; Nick Frost, Lena Heady, Florence Pugh & Jack Lowden. Bio-

Gareth Harris started wrestling when he was 15 and spent 7 years training under the tuition of British legend and now nxt coach Robbie Brookside. He has also learned from some of the best British wrestlers to ever step into a ring such as Danny Collins, Darren Thunder Walsh, James Mason, Johnny Saint and Johnny Kidd to name a few. Gareth has been passing on his knowledge for the last 3 years at his school based in Leicester. In early 2017 Gareth had the opportunity to help organise the choreography alongside stunt coordinator Paul Herbert and train the actors for the upcoming 2018 film Fighting with my family. Gareth and his team worked intensely to prepare names such as Nick Frost, Lena Headey, Florence Pugh, Jack Lowden and around 10 more actors/actresses and there stunt doubles for their roles in the film. Gareth will be opening the doors to his brand new wrestling school, From the ground up on September 17th, 2017.

Tuesday brought us another great night of training. With it being the last kids class before our Kids Class Showcase on Sunday, they all worked super hard to make sure they’re prepared to put on a great show for their friends and families.
In the adults class, we all worked on our strikes, mainly proper techniques for forearms, with massive progression seen. Well Done All.

With our Ibstock Kids Class Showcase drawing near, Our kids and teens class had the opportunity to get some match practice ahead of their big day in front of their friends and families
And in our adults session, CK Light came down to focus on drop toe holds and Japanese Arm Drags
