COMMUNITY CUP CRICKET EVENT A CELEBRATION OF COMMUNITY CRICKET & UNITY

Leicester Lankans Premier League (LLPL) is proud to have successfully hosted and delivered the Community Cup Cricket Event, organised by Hon. Shivani Raja MP, in collaboration with Leicestershire and Rutland Cricket Foundation.

Following a special request from Hon. Shivani Raja MP and ISLAH TRUST for LLPL to host and lead the cricket element of this important community initiative, the LLPL Organising Committee stepped forward and successfully delivered a memorable and professionally organised event.
The continued growth and success of LLPL has earned the league a strong reputation and high level of respect across Leicester’s diverse communities. Events such as the Community Cup demonstrate LLPL’s ability to bring communities together through the power of sport while creating meaningful opportunities for engagement, friendship and collaboration.
The event brought together numerous community leaders, representatives and distinguished guests, creating a vibrant platform for people from different backgrounds to come together, celebrate cricket and strengthen community relationships.
The successful delivery of the event was made possible through the valuable collaboration between LLPL and Leicestershire County Cricket, combining community leadership, cricket expertise and a shared commitment to promoting participation and unity through the sport.
LLPL President *Fazlin Nizam* and LLPL Media Chief *Minhaj* *Mihilardeen* proudly represented LLPL and participated in the event, alongside community leaders and representatives who helped make the occasion such a great success.

From a local cricket league to a respected community platform LLPL continues to grow, inspire and connect.
