The start of the current regime into open age football. The girls had come through age group Staffordshire leagues and then had to spend the previous season in the central Warwickshire U18 league as an u17 team as all players had not reached age 16 for open age football.
They then entered open age in season 2015/16 in the Staffordshire County League.
They lost the first two games whilst adjusting to adult football before winning every game there after and won the County League with a game to spare at the first attempt. All players except one on the picture were 16 or 17
A very good young dynamic team.
Two players still remain with the team to this day, Emma Smith and Katie Maya as does Manager Ian Smith.
Trophy was presented by the league at Brereton FC on 01st May 2016.
