Breaks Athletic took on Robin Hood Rookery on the last game of the season

In the last minute Breaks sent Goalkeeper Tom Morris up for the corner..

In unbelievable scenes Tom rises the highest and heads the ball into the net leaving the keeper stranded!

A disappointing result in a disappointing season but nice to finish on a high

Tomorrow we return to action in 2026 in the Second Round of the Sentinel Cup. Hosting Woodseaves FC from the Stafford League.

Yesterday we secured a place in the last 16 of the North Staffordshire Sunday Football League Tatters Trophy with a 2-1 win against Holditch Miners. The game didn't get going until the second half with Jack Davis scoring a penalty won by Logan Dack. In true Breaks fashion we conceded a couple of minutes after taking the lead. However Davis scored the winner in the last 10 minutes to avoid the tie going to penalties and securing our place in the next round.

Now we have trip away to Division three side Butt Lane White Star which will take place this Sunday.

Interested in next years darts series??? It'll be back again next year, we're just working out dates. We aren't taking any entries or putting peoples names down just yet.

What can be confirmed is that the event entry criteria will remain the same as last year, we will allow 48 entrants this year rather than 32, there will be no reserves at all this year.

It will also be first to pay, will get the spaces, there will be no holding spots. Series spots will be £30 so make sure you keep £30 a side for when entry opens.

Congratulations to our former player and appearance record holder Shaun Davies on winning yesterday 🎯

Shaun Davies, Grand Finals winner and Series Number 1. Taking home £600 today, £400 for winning today and £200 for winning the series.

After a week off due to our Sentinel Cup tie postponed. We return to action at home taking on Holditch Miners in the Tatters Trophy Second Round
