⛳ Greenkeepers’ update ⛳
After one of the driest Aprils on record, Sunday’s rain brought us more water in a single day than we saw all month! The course is still crying out for more though, so with May now here, our full irrigation programme is officially underway. 💧
Here’s what the team have been working on recently👇
🌱 Every sprinkler head across the course is currently being checked and adjusted to help keep the greens smooth, healthy and in top condition.
⛳ The White and Indigo tees will return to their usual positions on Wednesday 6th June following remedial work after rodent damage… news that might not suit everyone! 👀
📍 A reminder that winter rules and preferred lies have now ended across the course.
💦 On quieter weekday afternoons, you may spot sprinklers running while you’re out playing. We’re giving tees and greens some extra water where needed, but don’t worry, you should only come across each sprinkler once during your round.
🏖️ Our bunkers have taken a hit from the recent heavy rain, so the team have been busy de-compacting and topping up sand levels. We’re also carrying out a full bunker audit this week to keep conditions consistent across the course.
